Idyllic place without maintenance or staff training.

Hotel with a privileged location and a fantastic outdoor space. However, the interior is perceived as quite neglected and lacking staff and professional attention.The "spa" leaves much to be desired: it only has one pool, with green tile joints and signs of mold; the jacuzzi does not work and the outdoor pool was not in good cleaning condition either. Furthermore, they do not provide additional towels at no cost.But the most serious issue, in my case, was the restaurant. I have celiac disease and, despite informing them of this from the very first moment, the dining room staff did not have the necessary knowledge about gluten nor did they know how to tell me with certainty which dishes I could consume. I had to go personally to the front desk so they would consult with the kitchen and provide me with a list of suitable options. I was even told that I could eat bread that contained wheat.Furthermore, in one of the dishes I found a hard element that looked like a piece of plastic or something similar. When I communicated this, the response I received was that it was Maldon salt, an explanation that I did not consider satisfactory. During this whole situation I also heard a comment referring to the service as "very annoying service."I consider this lack of training and information especially concerning in a restaurant that serves people with allergies and intolerances. A person with celiac disease needs reliable information and sufficient guarantees to be able to eat safely.In short, a very negative experience, especially due to the restaurant service and the attention received as a person with celiac disease. Very beautiful property, very kind staff, unfortunately no waiter speaks any languages other than Spanish. I paid 15 euros for the pet (cat) which should normally be used to do the cleaning more thoroughly. It's a shame that half an hour after we were in the room, my cat's tail was full of dust, so I wonder if it should be the property paying us for having cleaned the floor! haha!! anyway for the rest it was good, nice pool, very large bed in the junior suite, mattress and pillows not of great quality. Rating from 1 to 5 I would give 3.5. In some areas of the property there was a hint of a sewer smell. It's a nice place surrounded by nature a few minutes from the beach, it's a very quiet place, the rooms are clean, the staff very helpful. However, the gardens outside look a bit neglected, it needs maintenance. The breakfast is included in the price and it has got plenty of things, the coffee isn't very nice though. The indoor swimming pool is open but the water is cold, the spa doesn't work. It might work in winter, I don't know.

A very nice rustic hotel with great views of the surrounding mountains and very peaceful location. The furniture in our room was in keeping with style of this building.The staff were all very friendly and helpfullThe waiters at dinner were attentive and efficient. The menu had three choices for first second and sweet and was of typical Catalan type dishes.There is a well stocked bar where they have a selection of beers and cocktails.Only one little dissapointment was the cold eggs and bacon for breakfast and cold plates, but apart from that a good choice of cold meats, cheese and doughnuts etc. and a good coffee machine.All in all a good stay and would return.

A Fantastic little secret.

The hotel is nestled in the Catalonian hills but only a stones throw from the beach. Staff were amazing, Caesar the manager catered for all our needs, in fact all the staff were courteous and helpful. The restaurant was fantastic, and the set meal was only €21 for three courses with a wide selection of cuisines from steak to paella. Due to Covid, the golf course which surrounds the hotel has closed, and also El Celler (a Snug and Retreat for Golfers and Guests) the jacuzzi was closed also, but it did not detract from the whole experience. Indoor pool was warm and inviting and the outdoor pool has private areas around it, to relax in peace. This is one hotel I wish all the best in the future after being hit so badly from the pandemic.
