  Very poor. Air con, WiFi, cooker, tv, lift, all broke. Place was a building site and staff could not care less about you

  Here’s a stronger, more detailed version that still reads like a genuine Tripadvisor review.We booked Rentalmar Los Peces Apartments for a week’s self-catering holiday, but unfortunately it was a really disappointing experience.One of the main reasons we booked was because the accommodation advertised free Wi-Fi and air conditioning. When we arrived, there was no air conditioning and no Wi-Fi, despite both being advertised.The apartment itself wasn’t much better. The cooker didn’t work, which made self-catering pretty pointless, and the TV didn’t work either. We were travelling with our teenager, and with the World Cup on, having a working TV and Wi-Fi wasn’t a luxury – it was something we’d reasonably expected, especially as both had been advertised. Instead, we were left with neither.To make matters worse, there was major building work taking place throughout our stay. Work started early every morning, waking us up, and continued throughout the day with constant drilling, hammering and other construction noise. There was also dust everywhere around the complex because of the work. None of this was mentioned before we booked or arrived, and it had a huge impact on what should have been a relaxing holiday.The lifts were also out of order, adding even more inconvenience.What really disappointed us was the complete lack of customer care from the accommodation staff. Every time we raised an issue, they seemed completely uninterested and showed no concern whatsoever. Rather than trying to help or even acknowledging the problems, we were simply told to contact Loveholidays. We felt like nobody at the accommodation wanted to take any responsibility or make any effort to improve our stay.Things became even more frustrating when Loveholidays told us they had spoken to the accommodation and that the manager would be there at 8am for us to speak to. We went to the office just after 8am only to be told there wasn’t a manager because they’re apartments, not a hotel. We were also told we had no right to complain, which was really upsetting and embarrassing after making the effort to go there because we’d been told someone would be waiting for us.After we got home, Loveholidays told us that the Wi-Fi was only available at an extra cost. I checked the accommodation’s own website again and it clearly says free Wi-Fi and air conditioning are included, so that just added to the frustration.We still enjoyed Salou itself, but the accommodation definitely took the shine off the holiday. Between the lack of advertised facilities, the broken appliances, the constant building work, the poor customer service and the way our concerns were handled, we wouldn’t stay here again. If you’re thinking of booking Rentalmar Los Peces Apartments, I’d strongly recommend checking recent reviews and making sure the facilities you’re expecting are actually available before you book.

  Booked a week through Galaxy holiday avoid this company at all costs.This apartment was in the process of being renovated, noise dust terrible reception, had a self contained apartment, no toaster no kettle, no hair dryer.Reception only interested in rented everything to you, as for building work this apartment should never have been open.

  After reading all the negative reviews for this place I was a bit on edge before we arrived.... HOWEVER......On arrival we were pleasantly surprised when we got put into a 2bed apt.. It was spacious, clean, aircon worked perfect.. had a big fridge freezer for our bits.. There was renovations goin on to some of the apartments beside us.. and work started between 8-8.30.. but we were up and about anyway so didn't bother us..Beds were a little uncomfortable but wasn't the end of the world.. All in all we had a very nice comfortable stay here in Los Peces and will defo be back nxt year..

  Cold night spent on street. Lousy attitudes and no recompense.

  Arrival at night. I called ahead from Cork Airport to ensure with the Reception at Rentalmar Los Peches that we would be able to get in at night. When we arrived, there was no security guard as I'd been told; there was nobody at all. The number we had been told to call (in the window) gave no reply, though I, my partner and the taxi driver all called it for half an hour. It was a cold night and we spent it on the street with our luggage, and eventually sheltered a while in the lobby of another hotel. On complaining at the reception next morning, they gave us attitude and expected us to prove that we had called. The number was a different one from the one we had called (and it’s unlikely we all called the same wrong number.) The agency did not refund us the lost night either.Will not return to this establishment and not to any of its branches either.

  Great hotel lovely big rooms great beds a full size fridge and a washing machine good pool the location is just perfect deffo be back stayed from Sat to Tuesday for such a good price 1 thing missing a kettle but a pan did the job also everyone gets a key to make life easier
