  Location good rooms very nice. The only bar is the pool bar and is never open. Which it does say it isnt open from 1st October but I thought there would have been somewhere we could get a coffee. You just get 1 lot of coffee in your room no top ups. The spar facilities aren't great and the jacuzzi smelled and was dirty they dont clean the sunbeds around the pool.   Unprofessional & Disgusting reception staff behaviour !!

  URGENT COMPLAINT! We are currently on our FIRST night at your hotel, and the experience has been absolutely appalling. Our air conditioning doesn’t work, and after going to reception FIVE times asking for help, your receptionist SHOUTED IN MY FACE, shoved a fan towards me and refused to help. I resorted to tears due to being shouted at for simply asking for help, and other guests actually came over because they were so shocked by his behaviour. I have VIDEO EVIDENCE (Happy to share!) After almost 23 hours of travelling, I’m now sitting in a boiling-hot room, unable to sleep, having paid £70 a night & I feel physically sick at the thought of having to face this member of staff again. I want a REFUND and to be moved to suitable accommodation with working air conditioning immediately, without having to deal with this unprofessional individual again. Can someone from management PLEASE contact me urgently? He informed us that he checked the air conditioning and found it to be working at that time. He also provided you with a fan in an effort to improve your comfort. He had no intention of being discourteous or making you feel uncomfortable and sincerely apologises if his manner came across that way.Unfortunately, we were not aware of any further problem during the remainder of your stay and have only just seen this comment. Had you informed Reception about this, we would have checked the air conditioning again and, if necessary, arranged a room change.We always prefer to resolve any problem while our guests are still staying with us, and we regret that we did not have the opportunity to do so in this case.   A clean and comfortable hotel

  I have stayed at this hotel previously (around 13 years ago) and it's still as good. The rooms have been updated since, but not much else. Our room on the 3rd floor was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was a good size with a separate toilet and huge walk-in shower. We had a nice private balcony overlooking a quiet side street. There are no tea/coffee facilities in the rooms but you can ask for a kettle and cups at reception and buy your own tea, tea, coffee and milk from the supermarket across the road, there is a fridge in the room. Our room was cleaned daily and towels changed when we needed them. The breakfast was good, lots of choice and all fresh. The hot food wasn't particularly hot but it was still OK. The pool area is a nice quiet space. I only went down twice but didn't have an issue getting a sunbed. There's a pool bar that opens till 8pm. We were in Salou for our honeymoon and the afternoon of our our arrival we we're given a bottle of Cava which was a nice touch. My only gripe was that we had to pay 6 euro per day to use the safe in our room, I don't feel guests should be charged extra for this. Keeping your passport, travel documents and cash should be essential, not a paid privilege.   2nd visit

  2nd time here, check in was easy, Alex on the desk was very polite and welcoming, we were put in room 103, which is directly above reception, however, there was no noise issues, breakfast was included, breakfast is limited, but there is something for everyone. Wi-Fi in the room was good, however, around the pool bar there was no signal.The only issue was the bad odour from the drains, which smelt the bathroom out, we knew of this issue from our previous visit, so we just popped over to the supermarket across the road to buy a cheap disinfectant to use after showering, the local council need to sort this issue urgently.We would certainly recommend this hotel as ideal base for couples, we will return soon.   Second stay herePositives, clean and good sized room and a great shower. Hairdryer in bathroom good. Central location with beach and supermarket 2 min walk. Air con works well.Negatives, paid extra for superior room this time, higher floor, coffee machine. Not worth it, small balcony, view no better that ordinary rooms. Coffee machine had 3 pods left, never refilled. Asked once at reception for refill and was handed 4 pods. At checkout was charged 4 euro. Apparently they come in a pack of 4....didnt matter not all used.Small thing, but charges should be made clear. Also, they are open to hen parties.
