100 rooms, including 3 junior suites, suites, 4 single rooms and 90 double rooms, are located on 4 storeys and can be reached by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by English- and French-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock.     We stayed for 12 nights at the Monica hotel recently. The staff are extremely welcoming, helpful and in everyway possible. We had a safe malfunction, late at night which was easily resolved first thing in the morning by the head of house keeping with a smile on her face and a reassuring word. We were late getting back from an excursion the restaurant was officially closed, however the staff still set up a table for us, the steak tasted soo good. However we will be eternally grateful to the member of staff who helped us during a medical emergency, her help with the language barrier between ourselves and the paramedicswas brilliant, the compassion she showed to both my husband and myself was so very much appreciated. Although we said our thank yous the following morning, sadly I do not have the young lady's name to thank her publicly. She and all the staff are a huge asset to the hotel. We loved the wee bar lass also always a cheery smile ??.     AMAZING HOLIDAY!

    Had an amazing week at Monica Hotel. What really makes this hotel so special is the staff. Everyone of them were friendly, professional & attention to detail was exceptional. Delicious cocktails and a good choice of drinks & very reasonably priced. We had breakfast included, good choice and very nice. We had a couple of snacks from the bar & these were good.     We returned today from Hotel Monica and can't praise it highly enough. The staff are outstanding, each being extremely personable, friendly and professional. The food is varied and wonderfully presented and the cooking cannot be faulted. We found all public areas and our room to be very clean and well decorated. The restaurant staff, bar staff and reception staff moved seemlessly between at least three languages. We enjoyed a wonderful holiday in the Port area of Cambrils and our experience was greatly added to by this hotel its staff.     Great stay near everything Cambrills has to offer.

    Stayed as a couple , very clean hotel with friendly staff in all areas. Lovely breakfast and with relaxed indoor and outdoor dining throughout the day. Loved the pool area with well maintained grass and pool area.Never a problem getting beds .Hotel close to beach,shopping and variety of restaurants. While the was some entertainment w ould have liked something on every night.Would highly recommend this Hotel.     Central location, enjoyed our stay

    A very nice hotel in a central location. Cleaning was excellent. Air con in room superb. Room itself was comfortable. Only thing missing really was coffee/tea making facilities. Our room was overlooking the back but as we had a high floor view was ok & we weren't too overlooked. Balconies are pretty small but enough room for 2 chairs & a small table.Being so central be mindful of festivals/events in the resort. On our last night there was an all night event on the beach so we didnt sleep well as the event was on till 6am, not ideal being an early flight home. Not the hotels fault of course & suspect not a common occurrence, perhaps worth checking events ahead of booking.Pool area wasn't huge but pleasant enough, plenty of shade with trees & lots of sunbeds. Pool was clean, well maintained & a nice temperature.Pool towels were good quality, €10 refundable (cash) deposit & you could change every 3 days. Although in my experience, for a 4 star hotel pool towels are usually provided no charge.Breakfast was nice enough, fruit, bread, meats, eggs etc & pastries were very good. Staff were all very nice. As mentioned you can't check in till 3pm so we went for a walk & lunch as arrived late morning.We thought the resort itself was lovely, plenty of restaurants, bars, shops & a lovely beach.
