  No bedside table

  21 Sept 2026

Am here now. Friendly reception, very pleasant looking hotel, decor is minimalist and looks great, a bit too minimalist for living though, paid extra for balcony and amazed to find there were two chairs but no table. We were told there was no room for a table though similar sized balconies opposite had a reasonably sized circular table. A much smaller table would have been great. My biggest bugbear though is absolutely nothing, no bedside table or even shelf by my side of the bed. Where do I put my drink or book? Did the designer try living here for a couple of days. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced this even in hostels. I think we paid for the second most expensive room, from the photo it looks like you have to go top notch to have somewhere to place your book or kindle next to your bed. Pity as there are many positives.

  Not the hotel advertised

  06 Sept 2026

This hotel seems to be set up for short stay and not for a family holiday, after reading about all the facilities available on hotel.com we believed this hotel would be ideal, just one problem they don`t exist. It says 2 pools but it`s one with a retractable roof which is a tad bigger than my bath, it states a maximum capacity of 17 , you felt over familiar when half a dozen were in at once, on the hotel booking sites there's a lovely picture of 2 cocktails on the side of this miniscule pool i'm perplexed, to get these you will have to go down 2 flights of stairs to the lift , down 5 floors out of the hotel on the street across the road to the nearest bar then return hopefully without spilling them, now for a little list of what we thought were available but aren`t. Snack Bar no, Bar no ,Cafe no, coffee shop no, Games well if you call the chess board in reception then technically yes, but get there early theres only one. It states rooms are soundproof ,i`m partially deaf but could hear everything from next door. Aircon now i thought this was excellent ,the room was lovely and cool to sleep but then i realised the hotel could turn it off and on so not so great after all, also don't bother putting the do not disturb sign on your door it doesn't make a blind bit of difference they still come in when they want, Some reviews say how good the breakfast is , how so , if the exact same thing for 10 days with no variety is good then well yes it is good. Now you might think i`m a miserable so and so not true. we still had a lovely holiday despite of the hotels shortcomings, oh and I nearly forgot our booking promised a free bottle of wine asked twice at reception for it and yes you guessed it, no wine. Will I come back to salou 100% yes Will I come back to the num hotel 100% not

Disappointing for a 4 Star Hotel nothing much else to say really.

  28 Sept 2025

We were 2 friends staying for 5 nights just to chill out after a tough year. Check in was fine receptionist was friendly room was ready when we arrived early approx 1pm which was nice. Our room was nice, clean with 2 singles, bathroom was clean with fresh towels. We had a balcony but when we opened the door we realised there was construction work going on and there was no way that we were going to be sitting out there it was so noisy and they started work at 8am to 5pm and plus there was no view just unfinished apartments. This was never explained to us at reception or we would have requested another room plus only 1 very uncomfortable white plastic chair on balcony for what was a twin room???Also curtains had what looked like mosquito blood on them where someone had zapped them and there was cobwebs on top of rail. When we did ask the following morning to move to another room we were told they were booked out [not true] and they thd room we had was a premier room with balcony to which we replied its of no use to us we can't sit out there so that was very disappointing. Breakfast was ok but scrambled eggs were obviously cooked in a microwave cos they had a green colour to them , juices seemed like they were watered down definitely not good quality and the coffee machine only half filled our cups so we found ourselves topping up alot. I didn't experience the restaurant but on speaking to another couple they said to avoid it as it was not Michelin star as stated. The pool was freezing and there were no towels and only a few deck chairs and we could see and hear the construction workers so there was no privacy and again it was very noisy due to same construction The hotel was in a great location very central but it lacked that 4 star quality and I wouldn't go back. Staff were nice and housekeeping cleaned and freshened our room every day but there just seemed to be a lack of that little bit of extra care and hospitality neededThe hotel has great potential but sadly we were not impressed.

Awful in almost every possible way.

  17 Aug 2025

Ok let’s start with the one positive. On checkout the receptionist was good. Now let’s rip them to shreds. 40 minutes to check in with only 2 people in front of us. Filthy windows in reception. Tiny beds. Air con stops at 6am every day. No hot water day one. The safe automatically opens 1 minute after you leave the room. Limescale on shower, mould also. Chrome in bathroom never cleaned. Cleaning staff screaming at the top of their lungs at 9am. Also leaving corridors impassable like they own the place. Just avoid!!!!
