Great hotel for young families, and all ages.

This hotel was actually above expectations. I was expecting an average sun holiday with swimming pool, etc. Since it was very affordable. But it was much more than that. Value for money. Clean and brand new hotel rooms, decent food, friendly staff. And a whole animation team, yes indeed not just one person, who gave a whole different vibe to the day from morning till the evening. Arts and crafts for the kids, sports and games for all ages. Including water polo which was extremely funny. And mini disco for the kids and entertainment shows. Special thanks to Nawal and Gaga aka Jose. Very well recommended.

Excellent location, fantastic atmosphere and staff 100% brilliant. Nothing was a problem with the staff and excellent at helping me with my mobility issues. Food was varied and of excellent quality definitely something for everyone. Gaga and entertainment crew are fantastic and made the effort with the kids. Hotel clean and good standard of decor bar and bar staff brilliant. Cannot fault this hotel and staff well worth visiting and 100% no complaints from myself or my two grandsons 18+30 ???? definitely will return next year.

Incredible amount of 5 star reviews for this hotel by people with their one and only contribution translated from Spanish or Portugese, usually praising staff. I stayed here and the hotel occupants were overwhelmingly Brits or Irish ( who are generally not quite so wholesome in their praise). So I definitely take a lot these reviews with a very large pinch of salt and find it all a bit curious. My own opinion is great room, very large and comfortable beds and good pool areas and chutes for kids and adults, albeit not nearly enough sun beds for everyone. Also, tennis courts and football pitch. Food was generally poor in qualty and presentation, or at least the main dishes were, practically lived on soup and salad all week. The main communal areas look very tired and dated, both in furniture and decor, certainly doesn't have a 4 star feel about it. Staff were a mixed bunch, reception very polite and helpful, bar staff not so much.In summary would we go back, probably not, but for families with kids then it's probably a good choice just based on the pools and kids entertainment and cleanliness.

I specifically booked this hotel as Jet2 said rooms had a bath or shower, and there was an indoor pool. Due to ear issues I requested a bath, but on arrival was told all rooms had a shower . The rooms are a good size, but lack decent storage, no drawers so most clothes are just on open shelves, no bedside cabinets just a tin table thing, no kettle and a safe that’s to pay for .Indoor pool was €20 for an hour as not owned by hotel, on principle I refused to pay. The ground floor was flooded during our stay and although staff desperately tried to keep the water out, there was a smell and the lifts stopped working which wasn’t ideal when on the 5th floor with a visually impaired partner . The pool area was just concrete, lack of beds and ice cold water in the scummy pool, we never saw it get cleaned at all. Restaurant food was in my opinion quite basic, same food most days, and always flies around salads and cold meat areas. Entertainment was poor, mainly for young children, no separate comfy lounge area for adults to sit . Cleaners do a sterling job and beds and towels were changed frequently. Location is in a quiet area, not many bars or restaurants around, lack of shops too . Had a lot of issues with mosquito bites , as many people seemed to have also. Definitely won’t be returning to this hotel- there are much better around and this does not qualify for a 4* rating in my opinion at all

Good but needs a few changes

Great little hotel but key points definitely need to be resolved or revised. The hotel was subject to a major storm. The bar and food areas was subject to flooding. The water did not smell very nice. The hotel did a grabd job getting it all clean.Unfortunately the spa has very limited hours and they want to charge you extra to use its in door pool which I refused.I must say regards to the food options lots of choice and meat. The staff in this area are fantastic. The rooms are great and spotless, cleaner came in daily.One bad point is they was not able to offer late check out, getting picked up at 6pm is a problem as no showers was available. Also the bar stop services at 12:00 on check out day. Unfortunately this information was not passed on.
