  Overall not a bad hotel,Firstly the bad. The rooms have been renovated recently but not the best workmanship, we had a leak from the bathroom above into ours which when we reported it was fixed pretty quickly even though it had obviously been leaking for quite a while judging from the stains on the ceiling. Make sure you get a room with a pool or road view otherwise you look directly onto the roof of the restaurant and other rooms.There is absolutely nothing around the hotel,a walk to the nearest town is a good hour away, we drove to the hotel so it wasn't an issue for us as we had checked on Google maps before we booked.The toilets next to the dining room didnt have any soap in the dispensers,one toilet didn't have a toilet seat and only one tap worked out of four for the whole of our stay.The swimming pools have lots of missing tiles which could cause an injury.Now the good.The food in the restaurant is good and quiet variedand the staff we met and spoke to both at reception and in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful, Overall If you don't mind being in the middle of nowhere it's not a bad hotel.More like a 3 star than a 4 star though, Dirección Oliveres, Director General at Ohtels Les Oliveres, responded to this review Dear family.   I honestly cannot understand how this hotel considers the way it treats guests on departure day acceptable.We paid for a 7-day all-inclusive holiday. We arrived at approximately midnight on our first night, so we had no opportunity to use the all-inclusive facilities that day. Then, on our departure day, the hotel cut off our all-inclusive access at midday, despite the fact that our airport transfer was not until 5:40pm.So although we paid for 7 days of all-inclusive, we effectively received only around 5 days of what we had actually paid for. We were still guests of the hotel and had several hours before we were collected, yet were simply told that our all-inclusive had ended. This left a very bitter taste and is something I believe should be made much clearer when booking.The cleanliness throughout the hotel was also unacceptable.Our room was never cleaned during the entire week and our bed linen was not changed once. The pool area was also left dirty and sticky on at least two occasions, which attracted flies and wasps. This is not the standard I would expect when paying for its advertised 4 stars!The service was equally disappointing. Staff generally came across as unfriendly and miserable, and with only one bar open for the entire hotel, the queues were consistently ridiculous. Waiting in long queues just to get a drink became a regular part of the holiday.We also had a particularly worrying experience with reception.We asked for advice about visiting the harbour and were specifically told that we could get a taxi there and would easily be able to get one back to the hotel. This was completely incorrect.We ended up stranded at the harbour with children, with no taxi available to bring us back. Thankfully, a kind restaurant owner realised what had happened, explained that we were very unlikely to find a taxi at that time of evening and personally drove us back to the hotel.We were incredibly grateful to him, but the fact that a hotel reception gave us incorrect information that left us stranded with children is extremely concerning.There is no communication about evening entertainment and none available what so ever for 3 evenings. One day, the music around the pool was removed to be provided for a private party leaving us feeling unappreciated as paying guests.Unfortunately, what should have been a relaxing holiday became a series of unnecessary frustrations.No proper housekeeping.No fresh bed linen for the entire week.Dirty pool areas.Long queues because of limited bar facilities.Unfriendly service.Incorrect information from reception that left us stranded.And all-inclusive access removed hours before our airport transfer despite paying for a 7-day package.The hotel may have its positive points, but based on our experience, we would not return. For the amount we paid, we expected a much higher standard of cleanliness, service and, most importantly, to receive the holiday package we had actually paid for.   Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was let down by the way our all-inclusive package was handled, particularly at the beginning and end of our stay.We paid for 7 days of all-inclusive, but because of our late arrival, we effectively only received 5 days of the all-inclusive package. We accepted that our late arrival meant we missed out on some of the first day, but we were very disappointed that we were not offered any consideration for this.What made things even worse was our final day. Although we were still at the hotel until the evening waiting for our departure, our all-inclusive had already been stopped. This meant we couldn’t even get drinks for our young children while we were still at the hotel.We completely understand that there are check-out times and hotel policies, but when guests have paid for a 7-day all-inclusive holiday and are required to remain on the premises for several hours after their all-inclusive has ended, we feel some consideration should be given — especially to families with young children.Overall, we paid for 7 days of all-inclusive but only received 5 days, and then couldn’t even get drinks for our children on the final day while we were still waiting at the hotel.This left a very poor final impression and unfortunately overshadowed what could otherwise have been an enjoyable holiday. We would strongly suggest the hotel reviews how it handles late arrivals and late departures, particularly for families.
