    Filthy!

    These apartments are filthy! We stayed here 9 years ago and had a lovely stay. We were going back to Salou again and booked these apartments due to our lovely stay last time but I was shocked at how dirty the place was. The floor is filthy all around the skirting and behind door stops. The cooker hoods are dripping with grease, there is mould inside the wardrobes. The glasses were dirty, there is no cover where the electrical wires are in the halls outside the apatment door where the lift is...the list goes on. As other people have said, the sound proofing is terrible. I had a horrible stay and I would advise anybody thinking of staying here to avoid it!     The room was perfect only down side was having to hire a kettle and the 200 Euro deposit. Most of our time there we had the pools to ourselves which was a bonus. We had a little panic when we got there as reception was closed and thought we couldn’t get checked or in through the gate. I booked through love holidays who didn’t have any further info on their website but a Google search and a couple of numbers later I got through to someone who gave us the info we needed and the key codes to the gate and key safe.     First time in Salou

    We spent a week in Salou from the 5th to the 12 October. This was our first time there and we were not disappointed.The apartment in Pierre & Vacances was spotlessly clean. We had a two-bed apartment. A full kitchen, oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, large fridge freezer.The main bedroom was ensuite, and a shower room.Plenty of room for four adults.The only gripe a €200 security deposit we felt was a bit steep. It was returned a few days after we had checked out.The other thing is that the towels in the apartment are supposed to last for the week. They did give us more when my husband asked, but he was told that's what the washing machine is for. We washed them daily, but they got very hard from washing, not nice and soft like they were when we arrived. We also found a lovely restaurant called Uncle Sams.
