A good find!

Very spacious appts, good air conditioning, of which we needed due to unusual hotter conditions in mid September. We travelled as a party of four and felt we had made a good pick with a large balcony which we used a lot on many occasions. Lovely pool with just enough sun beds, no problem finding one , never too many people about. We were in a ground floor appt which a view of the pool . We encountered a slope to walk up to our place, we managed it not too long. A sort of hidden place with a code needed to get in a gate . Perfect location, approx 20 minutes from airport, ten minutes to main part of salou. Excellent holiday from us, would recommend. I would rate my stay a 3/5. Apartments were quite nice on the inside, kitchen and big living area were handy. There was a moldy damp smell from the wardrobes in both bedrooms. The bedroom that has 2 single beds was extremely tight for space, the beds were basically pushed right up next to each other. I had no problem with sound proofing in the apartment. The main disappointment was the pool. There were about 10 sunbeds around the pool, so it was impossible to get one unless you went down and reserved one very very early, I can’t understand why they don’t have more sunbeds. The pool was also very small. They make you strip your beds and empty your garbage at the end of your stay, which again I find very odd. No sheet changes for the bed during our stay, and you have to request a kettle. It was a good 10/15 minutes walk to the strip and 20 mins to the beach. These apartments are filthy! We stayed here 9 years ago and had a lovely stay. We were going back to Salou again and booked these apartments due to our lovely stay last time but I was shocked at how dirty the place was. The floor is filthy all around the skirting and behind door stops. The cooker hoods are dripping with grease, there is mould inside the wardrobes. The glasses were dirty, there is no cover where the electrical wires are in the halls outside the apatment door where the lift is...the list goes on. As other people have said, the sound proofing is terrible. I had a horrible stay and I would advise anybody thinking of staying here to avoid it!
