All in all a good choice

The hotel is perfect for a weekend getaway. Hotel is clean and the rooms are comfortable. We had a sea view room which was nice but be aware if you need the doors open at night it is very loud. Really nice bar for pre and post dinner drinks. All in all a good choice.

BOOKED A LAST MINUTE HOTEL WITH BOOKING.COM ,paid with paypal , which was accepted ,AVOID THIS HOTEL & DONT USE BOOKING . COM ,,,,,there 1 * ratings on trip adviser IS CORRECT,, they cancelled my reservation,,,so went back to my regular hotel sol melia,,,

Don’t be put off - great hotel and great location

Don’t be put off by some reviews this is a great hotel in a brilliant location. We stayed as a family of 4 - mum, dad and our two grown up daughters. The hotel is very nice and not over priced. Our rooms were on the second floor both with balconies. The rooms were very clean with nice dressing area and bathrooms with large showers. The location is great with two beautiful beaches and beach bars. Also easy walking distance into Salou town. We enjoyed being able to go into the busy town but then escape back to the hotel area which was much calmer with lovely restaurants nearby and Houdini’s sky bar across the road. The breakfast is continental with a small selection of egg, bacon and sausage. Perfectly adequate. This is not an all inclusive hotel so I think people expect too much. There is a lovely swimming pool and bar area which gets busy at night. We had a massage at the wellness centre which was lovely - definitely recommend. Our flight was later in the day and the hotel offered late checkout which was a bonus. We would definitely stay here again. It’s well managed and well looked after. Perfect Mother-Daughter Getaway!

I took my mom for a short vacation to Salou on the Costa Dorada, and I am so glad I chose this hotel. It was just the two of us, and it couldn't have been more perfect. The location is great, the property is very clean, and the staff is super friendly. A special shout-out to the breakfast buffet—the food was really good and the service was excellent. Both my mother and I totally enjoyed our stay. I will definitely come back and will highly recommend this hotel to others.

Aggressive handling of a concern

This review relates to an incident that took place several months ago. I intentionally delayed posting this to allow the hotel sufficient opportunity to address the matter directly. Despite repeated attempts to resolve the issue, no satisfactory response has been provided.Upon arrival, I was assigned a room that did not correspond to the category I had booked and paid for. The room provided was clearly a different type than what was presented during the reservation process, and no alternative was offered.When I raised this at reception, the situation was handled very poorly. The interaction escalated and the behaviour of the staff became aggressive and confrontational. I did not feel safe or comfortable remaining at the property, and as a result I had no choice but to leave and arrange alternative accommodation at additional cost.In later correspondence, the hotel stated that any discrepancies are the responsibility of the booking platform. However, as the accommodation provider, the hotel remains responsible for ensuring that the information presented to guests reflects what is actually provided on-site.The claim that assistance was offered does not reflect my experience. No concrete or workable solution was provided at the time.Over the following months, I made several attempts to resolve this matter directly with the hotel. These efforts were either not answered or redirected elsewhere, without any resolution.In summary:The room provided did not correspond to the booked categoryNo alternative or solution was offered on arrivalThe situation at reception escalated, with aggressive and unprofessional behaviour from staffResponsibility was deflected rather than addressedNo resolution despite repeated follow-up over several monthsBased on this experience, I cannot recommend this hotel, particularly in terms of customer service and how problems are handled.
