Very good hotel, really nice staff, many things to do around the area, food was good and so were the rooms the value of the hotel was good and the all inclusive is a must have! The location of the hotel is close to shops, restaurants and portaventura which is perfect! The atmosphere is very nice. The atmosphere of the build is very relaxing. The cleanliness could be improved on with the pools but everything else about the cleanliness is perfect! I definitely recommend it this hotel. Dorado Palace...... A pleasant surprise.

We stayed here for 14 nights and we were booked in for half board. The breakfast was a busy place yet the staff were constantly replacing food in every area. I am a Invalid and the staff always seated us where my walking was curtailed to a minium. The choices of breakfast were very good. Dinner was 7pm and we always went down about 8pm to a slightly quieter restaurant. Again the choices of food were always very good and the quality was superb. There is an adult only bathing area on the rooftop and if like ourselves, travelling as a couple, the quietness was a dream. The rooms were adequate and the bathroom was plenty big enough. We had a lovely balcony with nice views. The Dorado Palace is about a 10 minute walk to the beach. As I was on a Mobility Scooter it was a bit shorter. Writing this review in real time as we’re checking out today!I arrived with extremely low expectations of this hotel after reading some of the reviews, and I can honestly say I think they are incredibly harsh.The staff have been so lovely and friendly, the hotel is clean and well presented, and our room was great. We upgraded to a Junior Suite when we arrived, which only cost us an extra £100 for the three nights, and I’d definitely say it was worth it. We had loads of space, a huge balcony, a massive bed and a jacuzzi bath.The food is absolutely fine. I’ve been raised to eat anything and make the best of any situation, so perhaps I’m not particularly fussy! We ate at the hotel a few times and then headed into Tarragona and down to the beachfront when we fancied a slightly nicer meal.We’re a couple aged 37 and 40 and generally enjoy the finer things in life, but we spotted this deal last minute and simply couldn’t refuse it, and we’re so glad we came!The rooftop pool is absolutely gorgeous and was definitely one of the highlights for us.I would happily come back and would definitely recommend this hotel to others. Please take some of the negative reviews with a pinch of salt. We nearly let them put us off, and I’m so glad we didn’t!??
