  Sadly , I would not recommend this hotel There was terrible mould in the bedroom which is not acceptable. In last day of stay I found bed bag which completely ruined our experience There was no kattle in bedroom which was inconvenient and also food had limited option

  Stayed at this hotel for a week half board, the rooms were okay although in need of some touching up in places and some tiles in the bathroom and balcony need replaced. I'd say about 90% of the staff we encountered were the rudest and most unwelcoming we have come across. Location was brilliant, about 10 minutes walk to the beach and just a short (free) shuttle from the hotel to portaventura. The pool seemed to open and close whenever the staff pleased. The facilities and kids club/entertainment was very poor, kids mini disco every night with the exact same songs and jokes. Despite advertising kids activities throughout the day there was nothing on. Being half board we were entitled to breakfast and evening meal, both were buffet options, and as we were told repeatedly by staff, we were only entitled to water with our meals. No soft drinks, no coffee, no orange or apple juice at breakfast. Not even an option to pay for it, just very rudely told we could only have water. The food was bland and just very strange options, none of the food was hot and the desserts were put out still frozen. Easy fixes but the staff don't care enough. Constantly felt like we were unimportant by staff, not welcoming whatsoever even though its a portaventura hotel kids were not catered for at all. I'd say the location is the only good thing about this hotel although there are plenty other hotels in the same area. Will not return to this hotel.   Hotel was clean staff where rude no kettle in room food was terrible apart from breakfast was the only decent meal no entertainment till late if you have kids plenty of entertainment the pool closed at a certain time all in all I wouldn’t go back to that hotel PortAventura World, Owner at Ponient Piramide Salou By Portaventura World, responded to this review First, we want to apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.   2nd time staying here - perfect!

  I went to this hotel in June for the second time. I preferred the fact that the booking system for meals had been removed as this gave us more leeway in what time we wanted to eat. The rooms were spotless and modern. The reception staff were helpful. We didn’t use the pool nor the sun loungers so cannot comment on those but we did use the beach often, which the hotel is very close to (10 minute walk). The hotel is also an excellent base in general with the beach, strip and shops all nearby. I would like if there were more English channels on the tv beyond BBC news or at least a heads up to say that this is the only English speaking channel so we know to bring an Ipad or firestick for evenings in the room. Food is what you would expect from an all inclusive but enjoyable nonetheless (chinese cuisine night was my favourite)!   Ruined anniversary

  My wife and I went here for our anniversary and was met with rude, aggressive and totally unprofessional reception staff especially a woman and the manager. The food I'd disgusting and cold which the hotel expect you to warm up with the microwave which is on food counter, if u come early in the day you have to pay 6 euros for each case to store it, we had problems with the room and on reporting it to reception was told lucky you weren't by the bins by the same staff. My advice to anyone who is thinking about coming here (don't!!!). Nearly£1200 this cost us totally ruined.
