  Don’t recommend this hotel, cleaning staff are stealing from rooms. My wife’s perfume got stollen, her mother’s money got stollen from the room. A few other guests we had spoken to had said they had also had stuff taken from their rooms. Food isn’t great, nothing is fresh. Rooms aren’t ready in time for check in. We had to wait 3 hours to check into our room after traveling with very little sleep. Found the staff quite rude and unhelpful. Except the entertainment staff, can’t fault entertainment at all. Don’t recommend if traveling with children, rooms are too small for the beds along with the travel cot and you’d need to keep your pushchairs outside the lobby. Overall do not recommend, liked the place and the area, but next time we would stay somewhere different.

  We had such a lovely stay for 10 days at the Best Meditteraneo hotel :) We had very noisy neighbours beside us that my partner had to complain 7 times about. They turned their music up extremely loud every night & were very rude. However, the hotel staff handled the situation brilliantly and ensured that they stopped and quietened down which we appreciated. The food is unbelievable & we have to mention Claudia at the restaurant. She was so accommodating with us and couldn’t have done enough for us. We really hope to come back and see Claudia again the future. Our rooms were also cleaned everyday and we really appreciated this after such a long day of sightseeing coming back to a spotless room.

  Spent four nights here,great check-in experience,Room was very nice and clean.The best thing about our stay was the food we went half board (all inclusive is available) Breakfast buffet was excellent but the evening was different class for the money amazing food and desserts to die for,all of our group felt the same.All staff we encountered were super friendly, out side pool area was cool plenty of seats for a nice drink outside,the entertainment at night was mixed but good atmosphere.The hotel is really close to the centre, beaches and nightlife Would definitely stay again.   Good hotel near amenities

  We have recently returned home from this hotel after spending 10 nights at the Best Mediterraneo (27th Sept-6thOct). This was our first time back in Salou for over 20 years as the short flight was adequate for our elderly parents. The hotel is quite modern and well maintained and has all the amenities you need in and around the hotel. The hotel is located in an area where you can explore the area quite easily with bars and restaurants on the doorstep. There is a bus stop on the corner as you step out of the hotel where you can hop a bus to Tarragona for a few euros each way. We were given two rooms on the third floor which were both overlooking the pool which we didn't request so this was a massive plus. Towels were changed every day which was nice but the floors weren't kept clean. The restaurant was very good with lots of choice but not always hot food unless you arrive when it first opens, but there is a microwave to warm food through. The outside areas such as around the loungers and pool bar self service need to be more thoroughly cleaned as spilled soft drinks and litter was attracting wasps. Entertainment and activities weren't the best although I can appreciate it being end of season. When in the lobby bar on an evening maybe the lights can be dimmed a little to create more of an ambience. The service from staff was generally good although to some it seemed a chore rather than hospitality. Overall it was a decent stay but not sure if we would come back.
