We were 8 guys (not a stag doo) looking for some last minute sunshine and cold Spanish beers. We paid £248 for three nights room only, including flights from the UK and transfers... needless to say we weren't expecting the ritz. On arrival the reception area is modern and check in was fairly quick. The reception staff were all lovely. I would imagine it would be quite painful if a full coach of people turned up. The twin rooms were clean & tidy, basic but perfectly adequate. The beds were comfy, there was enough storage and the balcony was a good size. Ours looked over the pool. The air conditioning was very good. Wifi was OK when there was a connection; it dropped a few times but that didn't bother us. We didn't turn the TV on. The shower was very powerful and super hot for all but one afternoon. The cleaner came in daily. If I had to complain, the room was noisy and you heard anyone puling a chair across the floor in the next room or walking down the corridor with shoes on.The outdoor pool was the only facility we really used. We located oursleves down the far end so know one could hear us snoring. It was quiet being October so getting a sun louner was no problem. All the guests were very well behaved - no loud music either which was nice. The lifeguard was ready to save any hangover swims and cleaned the pool if even a single leaf fell in. Staff at the pool bar were friendly and the prices for snacks and drinks were cheap - pizzas ok, burgers not so much, beer lovely. Food was even brought over to our area when it was ready. My only complaint would be the annoying pigeons but difficult for anyone to do anything about them.Location is a plus point for a bunch of middle-aged men - a nice walk into town / the beach and the theme parks if you need them are even closer I believe. During the daytime, use the back gate by the pool for a shortcut.Like I mentioned, we only used the hotel as a base so I can't comment on the entertainment, spa, indoor pool, restaurants or food other than the snacks. Oh, the English stytle pub was a good addition and we enjoyed a few beers in there on our last evening. Would I stay there again - if it was the same price - absolutely. For a cheap group holiday it definitely ticked alot of boxes.

Here on holiday right now amazing experience. Staff are so warm and welcoming and go out there way to make our holiday special. Very friendly clean and attentive. Best hotel I’ve ever been to in my life!!!!!!

Good stay but policy let it down

The hotel its self is excellent very clean and smart Food was top class Evening entertainment was enjoyable however there are a couple of things that badly let it down 1 having to pay for drinking water at mealtimes is bad enough but then to be told I couldn't take it back into the restaurant after I had bought it in there is disgusting in my opinion 2The quality of the beds really let's it down and the fact that mine collapsed on me when I sat on it Making my girlfriend keep well away from me at bed time which really put a downer in my stayStaff and facilities are great But the water fiasco would stop me from returning ??

Just returned from a 5 night stay at this lovely hotel. The staff make this hotel without exception every single member was helpful, friendly and professional. The rooms were clean and spacious and were very well sound proofed. Bed and pillows were very comfortable and the bathroom was large and clean. The pools were great - I only swam in the indoor pool and jacuzzi which was amazing - clean and warm. The restaurant was large and clean and the food was plentiful and varied. There was daily entertainment which everybody was enjoying. Now the only 2 issues - the hotel is quite a long walk out of Salou - ok if you are young and fit but too far for me to walk and secondly you have to pay for water in the restaurant which is a pity. However this is one of the best hotels I have stayed at for a long time. A special mention for Christian on reception who was so kind to a woman on her own!

Check in ok . Clean rooms slightly dated but excellent shower and comfortable beds . Wi-fi extremely poor in all areas of hotel had to keep logging back in . Unable to watch Netflix . Food was nice but tended to be cold . Found some of the restaurant staff not very friendly. Lovely pool area very clean . 10 mins walk into Salou if you go out of pool entrance turn left then right . €4 pint . Did not watch the entertainment did not appeal to me .
