    This Hampton Inn is over due refurbishing a couple years. Do not recommend there are other Hilton properties. AC not working correctly. Bath grout is dirty. Tile edging is damaged. Tub/shower water valve not working well. I paid 152000 Hilton points for 2 rooms for 2 nights. The room I received is not worth 10,000 a night. Staff very nice. They can’t fix worn out. Disappointed. I was in town for a wedding. General Manager, Owner at Hampton Inn & Suites Lafayette, responded to this review Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize that your stay did not meet expectations, especially given the number of points you used for your reservation. We understand how disappointing it must have been to encounter maintenance and cleanliness issues with the AC, bathroom grout, tile edging, and water valve. While we’re glad, our staff was able to provide friendly service, we regret that the condition of the room impacted your experience while you were in town for such a special occasion. Your comments are very important to us and will be shared with management as we continue working to improve the property. We truly appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention.

    The room was very nice and clean with everything we needed for our stay. The complimentary breakfast was one of the best we ever experienced. The staff member that managed it was amazing. One could see she takes pride in her work. She went above and beyond to make sure the guests were taken care of. I cannot recall her name, but she worked during the week of our stay of 9/24/25 - 9/27/25. So friendly and made you feel welcomed and comfortable while you are away from home. I hope this is enough information about her to be recognized as an outstanding employee. Will stay here again on future trips.

    Shaky accounting and lack of customer care! Three double charges ( 3 X $ 366.46) were applied but only two were reimbursed! No reaction whatsoever from the accounting department (although met personally on site) nor the general manager after a detailed eMail (+ a friendly reminder) requesting the reimbursement of the 3rd charge!

    Very disappointed in the condition of the room. Looks worse than an old college dorm room. Bed linen are very cheap, baseboards fell off the walls, smells awful, sofa has stains. On top of all that, front desk clerk has an attitude!     The attendant wasn’t helpful. The room’s closet mirror was broken and we could not use it. The beds were not the super comfortable mattresses. The tv ‘s were new BUT kept turning off every 30 seconds. The security bar was destroyed. This is not a Hilton representative hotel. D rated. I had to call Hilton to get my situation escalated because it was the day after Thanksgiving and I paid for 2 queen rooms. Was traveling all day with an elderly parent and child and it was a horrible experience. Thankfully, Amy and Trish helped us move to an exceptional hotel that we will rate shortly.
