Location

Located in the tourist centre close to the historical district, this comfortable city hotel is situated within a short distance of many shopping venues, countless restaurants, diverse bars and a nightclub. Public transport departs from stops that lie just 100 m away and can easily be reached on foot.

Facility

The hotel has 111 rooms, including 3 suites, 8 single rooms and 93 double rooms, which are located on 5 storeys and are reachable by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by English-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities available at the hotel include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are a number of shops, including a supermarket. Additional facilities include a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park. Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the view of the city from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience.     Great Location and Friendly Staff

    We stayed at the Catalonia Giralda recently and overall would rate it 7/10. The location is excellent for exploring Seville — everywhere was very accessible and we could walk to most places easily.On check-in we specifically requested a quiet room and were initially given room 304 overlooking the courtyard. The room itself was OK, however that evening there was significant noise from around 10:30pm until midnight. It turned out the hotel kitchen was emptying rubbish bins and possibly handling laundry. Initially we were told the noise was coming from outside, but after discussing it further the hotel confirmed it was from the kitchen area. The next morning we asked whether this happened nightly and were told yes, so we requested a room change.We were moved to room 418 overlooking the street, which was actually much quieter as the hotel is set back from the road. This was a much better room overall, with a proper separate bathroom rather than the unusual layout in 304 where the shower cubicle was in the bedroom area and the drainage system made gurgling noises when other rooms used water.The reception staff were genuinely lovely and accommodating throughout, although there were a couple of small organisational hiccups. When we went back to pack before moving from room 304 to 418, our original room key had already been unprogrammed so we had to return to reception for access. Then, despite arranging a late checkout through our Catalonia Club membership, our room 418 key was again unprogrammed at the standard checkout time, meaning another trip to reception to have it reactivated. Both were only minor annoyances, but slightly inconvenient.One big positive was the late checkout available through the Catalonia Club membership, which was fantastic for our late flight home and made the final day much more relaxing.We ate dinner in the hotel twice and the food was very good — the hamburgers were high quality and very filling, and the club sandwich was excellent. Breakfast also offered a good range of options.We’ve stayed with Catalonia hotels before in Porto and Barcelona and generally think they are a very good hotel chain. This particular hotel wasn’t quite as good as those experiences, but we would still stay here again because of the great location, friendly staff, and overall good experience once we moved rooms.The gym is tiny but has everything you need for a basic workout. The pool is also very small, but for a city hotel it’s a nice extra touch and seemed popular with other guests.     Smart modern Seville hotel

    A smart modern hotel close to the sights of Seville. friendly staff, excellent breakfast available. The room was comfortable with excellent shower. Terrace overlooking from of hotel was noisy but not a problem for us. Small bar available but no restaurant - but loads of places to eat out!     Lovely base in seville

    I can't fault this hotel, we had a beautiful room on the first floor with a balcony & very comfy bed. The room is fully stocked with eveything you could possibly need. The showers are great, fresh towels each day, robes and slippers provided.the only downside was that my other half was totally fazed by the glass bathroom door. 😂 tea/ coffee facilities in all the rooms. Breakfast was ample with a lot of variety, the staff are all really helpful & the barman makes a fab sangria .. 15 minutes walk from almost everything,it was a lovely base and we will be back again. Little tip ...if you go swimming you have to walk through reception but it makes great entertainment for anyone sitting in the bar 😁.
