Location

This elegant city hotel is located in Seville's old town, between the Alcazar Royal Palace and the cathedral. It is close to the Triana and Santa Cruz quarters, as well as the Isla Mágica theme park and the tourist centre of the city. Shopping areas, authentic local restaurants, Andalusian tapas bars and the main local attractions are all to be found in the vicinity.

Facility

10 junior suites, 19 suites, 18 single rooms and 114 double rooms are located on 3 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access (for a fee) is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park (for a fee). Further services include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a hairdresser, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. A bicycle hire service provides all the necessary equipment for exploring the surrounding area. Complimentary newspapers are available. A business centre with fax machine and projector is available.

Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. In some rooms, a terrace is included as standard. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. There is also an ironing set and a trouser press. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a CD player and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. Guests can take advantage of the nightly turndown service. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower, a bathtub and a bidet. A hairdryer, bathrobes and a telephone are available for daily use. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The hotel has family rooms, non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

Sport

The outdoor pool complex provides invigorating refreshment. Refreshing drinks at the pool bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub offer the perfect way to unwind. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. For those who wish to stay active while on holiday, the hotel offers cycling/mountain biking. Sport and leisure facilities at the hotel include a gym and aerobics. Various wellness options are available at the hotel, including a spa, a sauna, massage treatments and a solarium.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a café and a bar. Guests can indulge their palates at 2 restaurants (non-smoking, air conditioning and high chairs). At breakfast, guests serve themselves at the generous buffet. Various dishes can be ordered à la carte for lunch and dinner. Diet meals, gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and snacks are available.

    Our stay at the Alfonso XIII was more than excellent. We have stayed here on several visits to Seville and each time it gets better. In particular, Alejandro Herrera , the Front Office Supervisor, could not have been more helpful and kind throughout our stay and made it a very memorable experience once again.The hotel is spectacular in every way and the service is amazing. We hope to have the opportunity to return again to the Alfonso XIII!

    I stayed 2 nights at Hotel Alfonson XIII and it was poor. The hotel failed to acknowledge my Tritanium status and the service was poor considering the sky high prices. The building and location are great, but the rooms are dated and not very inspiring. Overall a big disappointment.     Stayed for a short while for a conference. Nice enough property per the photos but totally lacking on the basics. The air conditioning didn't work - which at 30 Celsius is a problem - they sent a maintenance tech three times to my room who didn't speak any English (another win for a hotel catering to international customers - maybe send a translator next time) and claimed all was well. They then said they would send a fan which did not show up and I resigned myself to terrible sleep which was the inevitable outcome. So three basics - i) air con ii) customer service iii) basic operations/comms to send items to the room - which in my view creates a rather sour taste when you are paying ~700 euros a night. Poor - avoid.     A review for the American bar in the Alfonso hotel. A really nice art deco bar with great atmosphere and a good selection of drinks and snacks. They struggled to cope a little with the number of people coming in at one point but worth a visit for a little bit of luxury and proper table service.Enjoyed my mimosa and martini plus Spanish cheese selection.
