  Everything about this hotel is perfect, including the customer service, to location, to cleanliness.They have a wonderful rooftop pool and this was a big reason why I wanted to stay here.So I go to the pool with my Yetti cup that has zero glass and purchase a beer. I put the beer in my cup and head to the pool. They said I couldn't sit in the pool with my beer. I was taken back and told them I didn't understand. They said if I spilled my beer, they would have to close the pool. Really? What about the many people that are sitting in the pool for an extended period of time and are urinating in the pool. Sorry. But this is a stupid rule and because it is 98 degrees out and I enjoy spending time at the pool. I will not return to this hotel.   Lovely hotel - just book it !!

  Lovely stay at this hotel. We couldn’t fault it. Staff are all very attentive. Always a lovely welcome on arrival at breakfast. Breakfast choices for us were perfect with lots of fresh fruit beautifully prepared and lovely breads. Great location. Easy walking distance to all the main sights. Nice to have the roof top pool. Room was perfect. Comfy beds and good blackout curtains. Very clean and serviced well every day. Nice to finish the day with a drink in the bar area. Staff were all lovely. Don’t hesitate to book this hotel. We would come back ….   Really enjoyed our stay. Friendly and helpful staff, especially the Concierge. Room was good sized and we requested a quiet room and it was very quiet - window onto courtyard. Very eco-conscious, which I appreciated. Even provided a toothbrush with no plastic! All very clean also.We paid for the breakfast and it was phenomenal. Included fresh omelettes. Vast selection including fresh fruit, cheese, meats, etc. And fresh squeezed orange juice machine.Great location also. Walking distance to historic center, and cathedral. If ever in Seville again, would definitely stay again.   If you want a great place to stay in central Seville this is it! No need to do any more research.When I discovered the Hotel Becquer through the magic of Tripadvisor I homed in like a heat seeking missile. I had a good feeling about this place before arrival and we were not disappointed – exceeded expectations in every way.The location is first class. It even has a Taxi rank opposite. The buffet breakfast has almost unlimited choice. The place is spotless and is being cleaned all the time. The top roof terrace with pool has great views and is very relaxing.Make sure you dine at their restaurant which has great Tapas.The exemplary staff cared for us very well.I have already recommended friends back home to come here as they wish to visit Seville.   Great location! I did notice the rate for my exact room dropped significantly a couple of days before check-in, so it’s worth keeping an eye on pricing after booking. If flexibility matters to you, a refundable rate can give you the option to rebook if prices change.Unfortunately, there were also several cleanliness and maintenance issues during the stay, including a black smear on the bed frame, makeup on the light switches, a clogged sink, broken coffee maker, a hair in the yogurt at breakfast, fruit flies around the fruit, and a 45-minute wait at the café for a simple piece of toast. We were also staying in one of the hotel’s top room categories, so this was disappointing overall.
