  Lovely hotel in a stunning plaza.

  Just returned from 4 days in beautiful Seville, having stayed at the Boutique Hotel Elvira Plaza. What a lovely little place, situated in the old Jewish area of the city, its location is both pretty, but close to the centre of the town. Wonderfully quiet in the evening, set on a courtyard of colourful tiled benches, shaded under orange trees with a little fountain in the centre. There’s couple of small bar/restaurants in the square, but these don’t become intrusive or noisy, indeed they lend themselves to the ambience of the area. The hotel itself is small, but very well presented, clean and comfortable. The staff were attentive, but not “in your face “, offering a warm welcome and proffering advice to ensure you have a pleasant stay and experience all Seville has to offer. Tho only minor issues with our room was the AC, it was really hot the days we stayed and the room could have been a little cooler, only a small niggle , but otherwise a very nice experience. Highly recommend.

  The Good and not so Good

  Agree with the review by Love2Travel in July 2025 as we stayed in the same room.The Good … excellent location, walking distance to all the major sites, lovely staff at the reception desk, clean and nice breakfast at restaurant next door, lovely communal roof terrace.The Not so Good… we also stayed in Room 106 , a double room with patio, clean but microscopic room, I don’t mind a small room as not intending to spend a lot of time there but there was no surface to put anything. The bedside ‘table’ was the size of a tile, could just about put your mobile there but no room for coffee etc aswell..The only place to put clothes was a rail with 8 hangars and a shelf below. The ‘table’ in the room had a telephone and a tray with kettle and 2 cups , no room for anything else, and only 1 chair. The air conditioning didnt work, we spoke to reception on first day and it seemed that they could ‘override’ the room thermostat, but no improvement. On third day we asked them to switch it off as it seemed to be set on heating . Fortunately the weather was hat but not excessive.The outside space, internal patio , had no light, iron table and chairs with no cushion was approx 4ft square, faux grass and extremely claustrophobic .The breakfast was at restaurant next door but not until 0930, so on last day , even tho our flight was at 12, we were unable to have breakfast.Maybe some of the other rooms may be better, potentially it’s a lovely hotel, just not Room 106.

  A good base in Seville

  Location is fabulous. We went as two couples and had rooms with balcony terrace which overlooked the best plaza in our view. Two nice restaurant/bars, which we tried. Rooms were comfortable, 201 had curtains and 202 had blackout/soundproof shutters which were very effective. We always had hot water but the shower wasn't very powerful but could have quick washes in it. Had to keep asking for milk for tea but I think that is because coffee is drank more in Seville. The only down side was I booked through booking,com and it said breakfast included from 7.30am. I had booked the palace for our first day at 9.30am when it opened. So going down to breakfast and was told it didn't start until 9am. I think there has been a change to how breakfast is included as you used to go to the sister hotel for it now next door restaurant/pub do it. We did have breakfast here once and the staff are great and the food was nice.

  Perfect location close to the center, atmosphere was amaizing very hospital staf. The room was very clean. Loved our stay in this hotel.

  We loved our stay and most particularly, the location of the hotel. It is close to all the main attractions and yet it remain very quiet in the area. The staff were helpful and kind. We would definitely come back.
