  Very good hostel, in a good place (in the historical center) and good price.With a beautiful rooftop!However I have to say that the woman welcomed us was horrible (she yelled at the phone, she was very rude, I was almost cancel the night)But fortunately the man who cared of us the day after was very kind and polite (and so as for the maintenance man). So for them we still put 5 stars.

  A much needed break....

  I had not been on holiday for several years, and I had forgotten about the difficulty of finding accommodation at this time of year in Spain. Luckily, there was a few rooms spare at the Hostal Pino Nuevo, right in the centre of Seville, La Campana district, also conveniently located next to Plaza Del Duque, and El Corte Inglés. Upon arrival I knew any problems I had would be resolved by the helpful staff. They have such a cross-section of nationalities there, that it is easy to have Lingua Francas other than Spanish or English if needed. The rooms are basic, with shared bathrooms, but the value at this hostal is exceptional! More so for the scarcity of any rooms elsewhere at that time. This hostal captures Andalusian style for me, in the respect that you don't need extravagances to get by. The rooftop terrace is a great asset to guests staying there. You will not get anywhere else in central Seville at such a competitive rate. Also, the staff treat guests like family. I recommend this hostal!

  My boyfriend and I stayed in an en-suite room. The hotel is very quaint and authentic, with many traditional features including the courtyard which is used for breakfast. We both paid for breakfast for each of the 4 mornings we were there. I agree with other comments - it is a basic breakfast, but we both felt we definitely ate our 3 euros worth each morning, so we really can't complain! The lady on reception was really friendly and helpful. It was a fab location, we were in walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do. We had no noise from the streets, although a few people in the hotel were noisy after the stated quiet time of 11pm. Although, our room was located next to the shared bathrooms so there was a lot of movement there. Considering the location - we couldn't have asked for anything better for the value!

  Great location in the center of Seville.The location of the hotel is fantastic. It is very central to everything which allowed us to walk to all the places of interest we wanted to visit.Staff is nice.Good value/price ratio.

  We were charged 85 euros (including breakfast) a night for this place. The location is great. We were originally given room 224 It is a room of 3 in what looks like a shed on the roof. The room itself is like a prison cell, very small, with bars on the window which had to have the curtains closed as people walking past could look in. Getting to it is a health and safety nightmare, up 2 flights of very steep narrow stairs no hand rails in parts. Then a walk across the slanted roof. The next day they changed our room to 221 on a lower floor. access was easier. There was only enough room for a double bed against the wall and a narrow space the other side. there was a wash basin but no room for a wardrobe, or for the luggage. The bedding was clean. One of the he shower room / toilet had dirty shower towels on the floor at least 2 days. Breakfast was ok, ie coffee / tea, orange juice, cornflakes,toast , jam, cheese, and ham. The whole place needs a good make over. Had we only paid 25 euros for the room as advertised outside the door I would have said good for the price but for 85 per night we feel it is an insult for what is no better than a cell. It could pass as a hostel but not as a pension or hotel. Certainly not suitable for children..On leaving you are given a feed back form to complete infront of them..Having said this the lady on the desk was very nice, cheerful and helpful. You have stayed in a room with shared bathroom. The days of your stay was high season in the city so prices were quite high throughout Seville.
