    Great location for exploring

    Perfect location for exploring the sights of Seville. It's in a great Central location 5 minutes walk to the Cathedral, Alcazar and some amazing tapas bars and the buzz of the city. The tapas bar opposite the hotel is always popular and the food and hospitality explains why. Breakfast at Hotel Simon ran from 7.30-11.00 which was great as you didn't feel you had to rush to get up and get served. The continental breakfast had a fair selection and was replenished all the time. The hotel is a little dated but all adds to the charm. However, my advice is when booking do request *not* to be on the ground floor. Acoustics aren't great and at 7am hearing staff coming on shift or the start of breakfast, when your room is next to the breakfast room, isn't the wake up call some would want. Having said that for 3 nights I wasn't bothered too much, but if staying longer would have been an issue. For the ££ and location it's a great hotel.

    Such a lovely, historic, atmospheric little hotel tucked away in the middle of Seville’s touristy old town. A beautiful, quiet Moorish-style patio complete with fountain. Our room, 205, overlooked the street but with its old closed-in balcony, double-glazed window and wooden shutters it was quiet. We had a TV and a kettle - and a very modern bathroom. The room was huge, with a separate sitting area. The bed was comfy and the continental breakfast was fresh, varied and substantial. I would totally recommend this hotel for lovers of history and genuine Andalusian atmosphere.

    Charming hotel in historic centre of Seville

    Hotel Simon is conveniently located about 50 metres from the cathedral. All of the main sights of Seville are within a short walk. There are lots of restaurants nearby. Although the entrance is just off a narrow, busy street, the reception is manned 24 hours a day. All of the staff members that we encountered were friendly and helpful. Our room was cool and clean with a modern bathroom. We knew in advance that the rooms do not have TV, tea/ coffee making facilities or safes but that did not bother us. We enjoyed the excellent continental breakfast. The building was originally a large private house and retains many of the original features including arches and Moorish style tiles

    Enjoyed our stay in this 18th century mansion. It provides a buffet breakfast in the central courtyard, which I enjoyed sitting there and dreaming. Although the breakfast was simple, I enjoyed all the food that was provided. Hotel is about 50 metres from the city's famous cathedral, of which I had the privilege of attending the mass in the morning,

    Super central location in the old town of Seville, just a few minutes from the cathedral. My room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and everything worked as expected. There’s no fridge, kettle or TV in the room, but that was totally fine for me. The bathroom was clean and straightforward, and the staff were friendly.The hotel is a bit echoey because of the large inner courtyard, so sound carries a little. My room faced the back with a very “grand” view of the courtyard wall, but it was quiet, which honestly mattered more than the view.Breakfast was fine. Sometimes a few things could have been refilled a bit faster, but after mentioning it, it was taken care of right away.Overall, a solid stay and great value for the location.
