  A different experience

  Great beach location opposite Beach URH Sitges remains our hotel of choice on our annual visit to Sitges.This year we visited in the offseason instead of in the summer and definitely had a different experience in the town. It was quiter and much easier for restaurant/tapas bar bookings and browsing the wonderful shops.Our frontal sea view was fantastic. Bed was comfortable and we had tea/coffee facilities. We did notice since our last visits 8 months ago, that their are some maintenance issues here and there. Some broken tiles which have been patched up , broken beading on the glass door leading to the balcony, dirty umbrellas in the restaurant Amanit, fewer items for the breakfast buffet than we have had on our 3 previous visits. The small plastic table in our balcony had a large crack in the middle when we arrived which we reported to reception 3 times but nothing was done about it. We took the table down to reception in the end to get it replaced on our 3rd day. As we had paid extra for a balcony sea view room it is reasonable to expect balcony furniture which is usable.We must however commend the staff, Cristina, Ivan,Domingo for looking after us well..we hope the maintenance issues are resolved as we love this homely hotel and want to keep staying here.

  Great beachfront location ,great view from the room (deluxe sideview). Friendly, helpful staff, they went out of their way to assist.Some previous guests leave umbrellas/chairs with the hotel for our use! Was so handy! Lovely restaurants nearby , nice walks, great place to visit! We opted for no breakfast. I would stay at this hotel again!

  Lovely hotel, disappointing breakfast

  September 2025The hotel is lovely, all the staff are very helpful and very friendly, the location is fabulous. The pool area is a beautiful and secluded oasis. The rooms are bright, clean and modern. However, as previous reviewers have commented, the breakfast (as part of the B&B package) is provided by the Amanit restaurant at the front of the hotel. Amanit also provide a menu for breakfast for non-guests.The B&B food for hotel guests is extremely disappointing, the breakfast area is cramped and untidy, it has low quality dull food and a repetitive and very limited selection. Overall it is a ‘lazy’ and cheap attempt at a hotel breakfast. If you eat at the outside tables you have a wonderful view of the sea but the uncollected plates of left over food (not enough staff) attract groups of pigeons that swoop in and scavenge for and destroy the remains of food, the plates and the ambience. We would come to the hotel again because but only if we could book on a ‘room only’ basis with our tour operator and we will source our own breakfast.

  An excellent location, not far from the main centre. The best beach literally outside the hotel Sunbeds a bit on the pricy side, €75 for 4 beds and a parasol, but hey, comfortable and great people working on the beach, I hate sand on me , so best option.Hotel itself, we were B&B. If you can’t find anything you fancy to eat at the inclusive breakfast, then you have a problem. Great choice of continental meats, cheeses etc fresh fruit, also great scrambled eggs, bacon beans sausage, need I go on ?Rooms spotless, amazing hard working maids and so friendly, always really cheerful and smiling. We said one day that we didn’t need towels changing but she insisted. I’m pretty sure that the bed linen was changed at least twice.. came here for Sitges pride and got a bit of makeup on the pillow (glitter). All clean and changed later that day. For the price that we paid for a week long stay, did do a lot of searching on line and paid just under £700pp for 7 nights, think it was excellent value for money. We hope to come back next year and the following one for a family wedding. All in all, great holiday, highly recommend and I am very fussy!!
