  Very nice Hotel and spa

  Accommodations and location is outstanding as is the spa, the only reason I gave a 4 is we had paid 49€ each for the “circuit” in the Roman style baths and the hot bath was not working, no offer of rescheduling, discounts or refund offered mind you the Roman bath area is beautifully done and still enjoyable

  Stunning hotel with amazing space

  We stayed here for five nights during August 2026 to see the total eclipse.This is a stunning hotel with fantastic amenities, helpful and capable staff, and a lovely atmosphere.The building was originally a sixteenth-century university. The standout feature is the main central room, which was originally a courtyard modelled after a monastic cloister. Now that it's sheltered by a handsome glass roof, it's a lobby, dining area, and bar area in one. It's well-laid out and used thoughtfully; you can admire gorgeous rose-gold limestone pillars while you have breakfast, wave to your friends on the balcony as they come down from their rooms, and spend the evening sat next to the fountain as you gaze at the sky. As a space to just chill out, I'd struggle to imagine a hotel that could beat it.The rooms are clean, quiet, and a good temperature. The windows are small, particularly on the upper floors, but this doesn't feel like a limitation. The staff speak English well and are polite and helpful.Other highlights include the outdoor pool, which wasn't very busy even in peak season, and the indoor thermal pool, a relaxing space full of fancy water jets and bubbles to help you unwind. The spa area and the Turkish baths are also enjoyable, though you have to book a specific tour to use them.On the food, we tremendously enjoyed the breakfast; the variety and quality of food on offer made it one of the best hotel breakfasts we've had. We were less impressed with lunch and dinner (the same menu for both); the food was reasonably good but not particularly special. A particular disappointment was the small range of vegetarian options (only three dishes, and the kitchen wasn't able to accommodate bespoke requests either) - this is probably the main caveat I would give to my (otherwise strong!) recommendation. In fairness, when we went into Osma to find restaurants for lunch we couldn't find anything better, so Castilla Termal is probably in line with local customs here.On the other hand, going round the town made it clear how much of an oasis this hotel is in terms of its tranquil atmosphere. This atmosphere is what I will think about most and I thoroughly recommend experiencing it!   Great hotel, not enthusiastic about the restaurant

  The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are large, the spa is great. And the room has a map with very good information and a bench, beside coffee/tea facilities. Unfortunately, we were very unhappy about the food. I am not a picky eater, I eat almost everything and never send a plate back, but I left all my food untouched and my husband had to sent his back since it was undercooked.   This hotel is stunning and our room was large and very comfortable. The spa is an added luxury and we could use it free of charge with the type of room we’d booked. The outdoor pool had closed for the winter two days before our visit which we were a little disappointed about and we were not told about this before our visit. Breakfast is excellent. Good choice on the buffet and hot food was served to our table. Cannot fault the standard at all. The hotel is spotlessly clean and smart and the staff are very helpful. The only complaint I have is the cost of drinks at the bar. £26 pounds for two small, measured gin and tonics. This is extortionate and unnecessary as a few steps away in the town, they are a fraction of this price. Hence the bar was always very quiet. However, we very much enjoyed our stay and would definitively return if we were in the area.   a complex and tired spa hotel

  The hotel does not correspond to the status of the spa hotel. Having paid for the room and spa services in advance, they will tell you that you need to book spa services separately by time and will not tell you that you need to book an additional day and a separate spa complex. And a 15-year-old child may be denied access to an evening spa, simply confusing with the age of admission. Part of the equipment in the spa does not work, one of the two showers is broken! The staff is busy with their own affairs and you only bother them. The rooms themselves are tired and worn out. The carpet in the hallway is tired…Room access cards work very poorly. Parking is small and limited.
