Location

This hotel is located at the heart of the old town, on a side street to the pedestrianised zone and only 600 metres from the beach. Shopping venues, restaurants, bars as well as tropical gardens are all located in the neighbourhood. The resort beach of Playa Jardin and seawater swimming pools are only about a 15 minutes walk away. Public transport leaves from stops almost 600 metres from the hotel.

Facility

The hotel has 3 single rooms and 64 double rooms, which are located on 5 storeys and are reachable by 2 lifts. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out.     This hotel has had lots of poor reviews but you get what you pay for! The room was comfortable and clean, perfect location in the centre of Puerto De La Cruz, nice choice for breakfast! There were a lot of school trips there but it didn’t disturb us at all. Honestly for the money it was great

    I write this review because of all the negative reviews upon this site. I had a lovely quiet comfortable room, lighting and bed linen excellent. This is a very comfortable, affordable hotel in the centre of Puerto de la Cruz. TV had English channels, ie Sky News and CNN. Breakfast was also ok. It was very reasonable so no extras which I understood. The people at reception were very helpful and got me anything I needed. Also had goof WiFi. I recommend this hotel.     I had almost four weeks to get a feel for the place. My overall impression is a complete nightmare. The room was tiny, the bed a disaster, and none of the pictures of the hotel shown online are from today. The staff were friendly, but they still couldn't quiet the disrespectful teenagers—there were at least 20 of them. There was constant noise, loud conversations, and doors were slammed every minute until 2 a.m. Sleep was impossible under these circumstances. The hotel's furnishings are outdated. Breakfast was just about adequate for undemanding people.The hotel often responds to such reviews by suggesting that guests budget more for better service. I find this outrageous. Hotur Project, Owner at 4Dreams Hotel, responded to this review Dear Manfred, Our sincerest apologies about the problems during your stay. We did our best to avoid the noise from the group and we are really sorry if they disturbed you anyway. On the other hand, we do recommend you indeed to increase your budget and compare the options you had in Puerto de la Cruz during the high season (February-March) for 36,95€/night. You had a single room with a private bathroom and daily cleaning right in the centre of Puerto de la Cruz. Have a look at the rates for next year and you will see a bunk bed in shared room in a hostel with shared bathroom even more expensive (!). Why didn´t you request a refund of the remaining nights and changed the hotel? We never force our guests to stay if they are not enjoying their time, you were free to leave and spend the rest of your holidays at a better hotel (but with different rates).Wishing you all the best ahead, 4Dreams Hotel.

    I wanted a cheap short break away in the sun on a budget so booked this hotel. I didn't expect palatial surroundings based on cost. What I had was a clean basic room with a comfortable bed, a pillow I could actually sleep on and an excellent cleaner who worked so hard and even folded my nightshirt 🥰 Yes, it needs updated but it served my needs and I found the receptionists helpful. It was well placed for the shops and restaurants and the roof terrace was spacious with new sun loungers delivered while I was there.
