    A good hotel stay

    rating06 Apr 2026

The hotel was very well laid out, the pool was a good size, and the around the pool area was a little small but, this was a good thing so as not to create too much bustle when you’re trying to relax at the poolside/in the pool. The staff were very helpful and even gave us a little treat for it being a birthday. The all inclusive wasn’t as amazing as we expected, breakfast selection was okay, lunch selection was poor, and the dinner selection was very good. But, the snacks available outside of these times were poor and some of the basic items (food and drink wise) that we’d expected to be included were not, which was a shame.

Great holiday - despite the weather!

    rating04 Apr 2026

Stayed here 6 to 13 March 2026. The weather was cold with rain but the hotel not responsible for that! It did however mean that the rooms were cold, the heating appeared to have been turned off due to it being March - extra duvets delivered to room sorted the chilly nights. The rooms were lovely - all suites, ours was sea view, beautifully clean and well maintained. On the whole this hotel is great - service at the lobby bar was superb - they offered table service, and the pool bar just as good, when the weather allowed a drink outside. Evening entertainment was good - great duo of tenor singers one evening 😁Food - massive selection at breakfast with fresh eggs and omelettes - husband very happy he could have a ful English each morning. Lots of continental choices and fresh fruit too. Lunch - can't comment as we didn't manage to get back to the hotel at lunchtime to sample the food (we had a car so went out most days - which meant the poor weather didn't have such a great impact on enjoyment). Dinner was lovely, lots of choice and always drag fish and meat being cooked. One pointer - the food in the buffet section could have been hotter. Our first experience of an adult only hotel and we weren't disappointed.

Clean, friendly staff, amazing room and nice food!

    rating02 Apr 2026

We had a lovely time here. We were upgraded to the presidential suite from our My Favourite Club suite that we had booked and the room was amazing! We had a sea view, which was nice but I think if we came again we would book a Teide view as the scenery looking in that direction was breathtaking. We liked the food, especially the nachos from the pool bar! The bar and entertainment area is very pleasant and overlooks the sea, making it a really relaxing experience in the evening. The staff were all really friendly, we found the lady who ran the activities and entertainment particularly endearing. If we had any recommendations, we thought a clock somewhere visible in the pool area would be helpful and I would have liked to see snacks being served more frequently for all inclusive guests in the pool area as it was a bit of a walk to get back to the main restaurant from the pool. These weren’t enough to detract from our experience though and not enough for me to change my score. We would definitely return.

Overall good ,the hotel is large yet ,they look after you well food OK although we were disappointed the speciality restaurant wasn’t available during our stay. We have been to other resorts in the same group and standards are equal.

    Extremely good hotel

    rating01 Apr 2026

Hotel was very clean and fairly quiet as no kids. Originally B+B but we upgraded to half board for 4 nights for 12€ per night per person which is extremely good value as 3 course buffet and limited drinks. Try eating out for 12€! This upgrade is minimum of 2 nights taken consecutively, must book at reception but you can do without notice which is great. If you go straight to restaurant they will charge you 22€ per person for one meal so don’t do this. All staff were excellent. Food as usual could have been warmer but there is a microwave which is handy. I am a very fussy eater but I managed to stuff myself ok. For normal eaters you can gorge till the cows come home. I would say the food is generally aimed at Spanish and German and to be fair they made up most of the guests. Main dishes included huge leg of pork, chops, fish, veal 🤢, spag bol, steak, lamb chops etc. All freshly cooked in front of you so amazing. Only thing that was quirky at breakfast was the bacon and sausages. Bacon was sort of preformed, usually way undercooked and when cooked well it was like chewing on leather. Sausages were 2” long hot dog type in a pan of water and onion. Maybe a German thing? I would advise eating in the first two hours of a session as they do tend to start tidying away early. The My Favourite Club is a great upgrade when booking, £19 per person per week for seaview, full fridge, and private lounge for MFC members. MFC room opens 11.00 - 18.00 with free drinks, sandwiches, cakes, nuts and sweets. Yes sweets!! I pigged out on flying saucers, chewy bottles and mini eggs. You will more than recoup your £19 in this room alone. MFC members also have a reserved area in the restaurant which I didn’t really understand. It’s tucked away around the corner with no windows and right next to the large buffet food sections. I couldn’t help looking at them whilst waiting or getting food and I felt like I was watching them in a zoo, maybe maybe me, who knows? I preferred being out in the open, people watching to my hearts content. Safe in room also free but that maybe standard. WiFi excellent throughout hotel. Didn’t use the posh à la carte restaurant as that was shirt and trousers and I don’t wear them at home let alone on holiday🤣 Upstairs bar was huge, comfy and airy with sea views. Can PAYG or book to room. MFC claimed reserved sunbeds but I didn’t see any that were different to the rest. To be fair it was quiet and not a problem. Pool areas were music free and clean with good bar. I never dis a resort because of the weather as it’s not their fault but this might relate to the pool areas. We went during and after the storms and it remained chilly and cloudy all week. Pools weren’t that warm and often closed, but this may have been because of the weather. Our studio was excellent and clean with just a little tatty paint in the bathroom. Hot shower and was warm throughout. We slept with windows and balcony door open for fresh air and it was very quiet as the rear of the hotel, the seaview, overlooks a sort of public grassy area mainly used by joggers and dog walkers. Two TV’s with I think, just ITV, CH 4 and 5 although I don’t generally watch anyway. Plenty of storage and a nice touch were bathrobes, slippers, stocked fridge, sweets on the pillows and kettle. I think the only negative would be the location of the hotel, but I stress it was probably my fault for not doing my research fully as it was a bit last minute. On a steep hill so the climb at the end is a bit breathless but we’re 58 and 64 and starting to crumble. We walked to town once or twice but taxi was 6€ and bus less. I’d normally be nearer to beach but again my fault and to be fair never saw it because of stormy sea. Because of location, I wouldn’t return, but again that’s not the fault of the hotel, just the geography. If my alternative choice was half as good as this one I’d be happy.
