Location

These apartments are located in Icod de los Vinos. At a height of 325 metres above sea level, guests staying at the establishment are able to enjoy privileged green surroundings full of palm trees. The centre of town is approximately 800 metres from the establishment and is home to shops and the famous Millenarian Dragon tree. Restaurants and public transport links can be found within just 50 metres of the apartments, whilst nightlife spots and tourist attractions are a little further afield in Puerto de la Cruz. The nearest beach can be reached in half an hour by public transport, or in around 15 minutes by car. Tenerife North Airport and Tenerife South Airport are approximately 45 and 130 km from the accommodation respectively.

Facility

A pleasant ambience awaits guests in 7 rooms and 6 apartments. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. A safe, room service, a laundry service, a hairdresser, a smoke alarm and a smoking area are available. Wireless internet access (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. There are a number of shops as well. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Bicycle storage is available to guests. There is a bike hire service as well.

Rooms

Rooms feature a kitchen and a bathroom. Individually adjustable heating ensures comfortable temperatures. Guests have a beautiful view of the sea from the balcony or terrace, which are included in the standard amenities of some rooms. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a sofa bed. A safe provides secure storage for guests' personal property. There is a fully-equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, stovetop, microwave and tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. Wheelchair-accessible rooms can also be booked. The apartment complex has non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

Sport

The sports and entertainment facilities at the complex ensure that guests have plenty of activities to choose from during their stay. A sun terrace is a great place to while away the hours. Leisure activities and facilities at the complex include cycling/mountain biking, golf, a gym, a solarium and hiking or, for a fee, massage treatments.

We booked this property as we were invited to a friends wedding in the local area. We stayed less than 12 hours. There is a stench of damp and sewage in the kitchen area of apartment 1. It is so overpowering and there is no way you would prepare & cook meals there. The bed was hard and inadequate. It's like sleeping on a camp bed with 1 flat pillow and 1 thin quilt. The property itself is on a very steep hill and it's a 20 minute walk into the town centre. It is a 4 km walk to the nearest beach which is quant but nice with 1 resturant.It states free parking but you could find yourself parking quite away from the property. It also states free WiFi but there is signal issues. Garden furniture in the lounge area is uncomfortable and cheap. The whole place needs a revamp. We booked into a hotel near by as was just not prepared to stay there a minute longer. Be prepared if you have limited mobility you will find this property inaccessible. Local people are wonderful. They are warm & welcoming it's just a shame the property is so disappointing. No cleaning service & towels changed every 5 days. Make sure you do your research and read the small print before booking this property. It's not for the faint hearted!

The owner very nice but the location smells terrible of mold and it is a shameful misery.We have booked a room but two hours after I arrived I went elsewhere.If you do not want to spoil your leave then do not go to this location.No recommend

Perfect for peace & tranquility

Lovely views on roof terrace with stunning plants all around outside areas of apartments. Spacious & adequate. Bit basic but shabby chic & maybe in need of a bit of upgrading but this is reflected in the very cheap price. Nearby couple of bars/restaurant/cafe but main shops a 20 min walk down a steep incline to city centre town Icod de Los Vinos. Taxi back up only 3-4 Euro. Titsa bus station in town to all destinations in Tenerife. I took a trip to beautiful Garrachio which was stunning & definitely worth a visit. Only 3 Euro return fare. Lovely quiet place for retreat/honeymooners/time out but not much to do if sun not out. I checked out early as it was overcast to Puerto de la Cruz which was brilliant & where my airport shuttle pick up was as it was easier than early morning travel. Got a fantastic hotel room at Hotel Marte for only £47 for 2 nights B & B. Lots of shops/restaurants etc on the doorstep & brilliant beach close by.Overall I would say yes worth a visit to these apartments.

Funky place to stay!

I liked this place due to it being in a non touristy area. It is a trek up a very steep hill to get to so it is best to pay a few dollars for a taxi or to rent a car. Navigating around the island can be frustrating as the bus schedule is not exact so I'd rent a car next time as it is not very expensive. This place is a little colder than the south as it is higher in elevation. The owner is a German transplant and very helpful. The views from the terrace are amazing. I had trouble with getting wifi in the room.

Loved every moment!❤️ Great location, beautiful view. The owner was great, helpful and friendly. My favorite vacation yet. We loved this location, icod is great, we had a car and drove a lot and visited many places, it made a perfect vacation. Rather than stay in the south I would stay in the north.
