  Wouldn't stay again unless serious make over and pest control problems sorted

  We stayed for 10 days in Oro Blanco in August- September 2023. Location is ok for those who don’t mind walking, but perfect if you want to explore Costa Adeje, Playa las Americas and Los Cristianos as central of them all. We got the bus up to Siam park but walked back and was back within 15 minutes. The pool and bar is ok, quite dirty and needed some serious attention although was a bit of a shock when inhaled the pool water as not usual chlorine, it’s like a salt water. The pool isn’t massive considering how many rooms Oro Blanco holds and did feel overcrowded. Sun beds are the same issue as most places, idiots that que and don’t even let the poor staff take the barrier down before they’re hopping over the barrier then leave their towels and disappear for the day. The price of the drinks and food were good and plenty to offer. The rooms are seriously outdated and quite dirty. I’d probably rate them the lowest rating and to why my rating what it is. The ceiling fan just circulates hot air and makes a terrible noise like its going to take off which in the summer months isn’t ideal. You do have windows you can open and a balcony however we thought that was a good idea until night 3 when we started to see cockroaches running around the room at night!! This really distressed my daughter and did have a massive affect on the holiday as she couldn’t sleep with distress as it scared her so much. The hotel gave us some spray but practically told us to get on with it . I completely get there around Tenerife but seeing them in your room isn’t nice. I appreciate your beds are made every day except Wednesday and Saturday but no pillow cases for majority of 10 days, multiple occasions we put our sign for our room to be done but not done. Overall we’ve had a great holiday, but would not stay here again. Things I’ve found out are you can have wifi but you have to pay! You can have air conditioning units but have to pay! You can pay 30 euros for late check out. If you have a late flight they have a luggage room. It’s been a good location and has served its purpose. We absolutely LOVE Tenerife. But as a growing family, we most likely wouldn’t stay here again.My recommendations for the hotel is better towels, the towels are worn and have holes in they smell and just have no life left in them & sort the pest control out. No one wants to have to swelter in their room because opening the doors to the balcony overnight welcomes unwanted guests. Definitely needs upgrading.

  Hell hole!!

  Terrible, and what a hell hole this place was. Yes was!! Closed on the 1st May and the final week was our experience of living in a pit of an hotel. Jet2 should never taken our money and we should have been told it was the final week prior to closure. Rooms never cleaned. No towel changed and bedding. Four nights of constant arguments from drunken couple above our room. We advised reception after our first night to be told "you just sort them out" and offered me a piece of pipe with the luggage room key attached! Jet2 removed all advertising and any sign of being in the hotel on our second day there. Pool area was smelly and dirty. The hotel then started to have fixtures and fittings removed over the next few days.

  Absolutely terrible had people screaming shouting arguing slamming there door from around 3.00am in the early morning for around Und 4/5 hours for my first 2 nights made a complaint and asked to moved and was told point blank no and to top it off the hotel told the people whom were in the next apartment that I had made a complaint about them I would not recommend the hotel to anyone to stay in absolutely terrible service ruined my holiday

  Came for a 5 nights holiday with some other couples and was an average stay. The rooms are basic and unclean, especially the bathrooms. The beds are uncomfortable and the fan is very loud, barely making the room any colder. The pool are is lovely, the drinks & food are good too. Everything is an extra charge, WiFi, remote for the TV, room card etc. Location is okay. Takes around 5 minutes to walk to the Veronica’s strip, 15/20 to the beach and then again 15/20 to get to the main part of Playa De Las Americas.Overall, we got a good deal for our 5 nights stay but I wouldn’t stay here again. Definitely needs a refurbishment.

  So after reading loads of reviews we were a little bit worried as it was booked as a cheap we get away for a week before baby arrives, After arriving I could not be happier we were room 319 gets the sun in the morning and slept peacefully every night, rooms are dated but we knew that coming and again you’re hardly in the room anyway, beds are 2 single beds just so people are aware, didn’t realised you could put the fan up levels till the last day 🤦‍♂️most of days went to beach so can’t really judge pool area the few times we were there didn’t have an issue, very strong smell of grease from the snack bar at the pool which put us off ordering anything, prices a little bit high to but again could not fault these apartments Would recommend after our experience PEDRO CARRILLO AMADOR, Encargado del hostal at Apartamentos Oro Blanco, responded to this review Dear Customer,Thanks very much for your valuable feedback and recommendation.We are very happy that you enjoyed the quality and service of the Oro Blanco Apts.Very grateful for your visit.Always Welcome :)Kind regards.
