    Terrible place to stay!

DO NOT STAY HERE!This is a 1 star hotel at most, room is never cleaned unless changing a bin bag is your level of cleaning, hair in shower on the wall, dust and dirt everywhere, bogie wiped on lampshade, it's a dive and luckily we were only here for 3 days! The outside floors are disgusting and not cleaned, shower works off a tiny boiler so hpt water runs out after 1 shower! Door locl broken on balcony door, everything is dirty and old and they have the cheek to charge you £100 deposit for any damages. They should pay us to stay here it's more like a hostel.

The worst hotel I have stayed at, very dirty and dusty, stained pillow and filthy curtains, big problem with the shower, boiling or freezing water. The streets outside were filthy and full of dog poo.My sister and I stayed for 7 nights, I was so disappointed with this hotel, we had to walk up and down 51 steps to our room morning and night which was not good for my 64 year old sister with her Osteoarthritis.we asked to move rooms but they said they were full.

This hotel was bigger than I expected but not too busy, good value for money with the rooms having all you need we had 2 bedroom apartments with 4 single beds and a comfy sofa bed. A big shop 15 mins ish walk to buy food. 15/20 min walk down to the beach. Pool was decent size and pool bar serving drinks and food was not bad price either having 2 pools was nice and some great views the staff are easy going and helpful with directions and booking taxi etc. would definitely stay again.

    Tenerife NYE fam short break

    rating03 Jan 2026

Location-I know this area well and was aware we were at the alto side of the TF1 ie the hilly side of Adeje, so be aware it is quite a hill up if you walk back from Fañabé or colon ect, those with mobility or poor fitness, unless you hire a car this not for you also stairs and no lift, if there was I missed it, th s is just my opion, like I said I was fully aware having stayed on the alto side before and we were only there 3 days, and yes there are taxis but we struggled at certain times and had to walk so if walking is not an option for you stay down in the resort.Apartments complexyes these are the older style apartments built in typical tenerife style popular across the caneries ie green windows, shutter, fences this is I believe is traditional steaming from fisherman's houses and green being the cheapest colour paint, the reception area is clearly old and somewhat dated but your not spending your holiday in reception, it has a purpose and maybe it's not the modernest but we literally called for taxi and stored our key there and it was equipped for the jobBar again older but fit for purpose had some lovely coffee plenty of drinks to buy, what can you say, plenty of seating ect even a patio heater reasonable prize, yes small food menu can't comment on food as dident have any but look fairly nice again thus is tenerife hundreds of places to eat - go experience this isMy advicePool - nice pool again fit for purpose, lots of loungers, is not a huge place so don't expect a huge pool plus I'd say you have 2 massive water parks and numerous beaches, you flown possibly 4 hrs and maybe saved alot - get out and about see tenerife don't sit by a small pool, Apartment -nice and spacious, we stayed in 14 which over looked pool had a good view down the coast duque area, brand new modern kitchen, microwave with grill, brand new, electric hob got nice and hot, I cooked twice as we were on a budget did pasta and managed to put out a good meal, the kids love pasta and easy to whip up in holiday apartments, there's a kettle, coffee maker, toaster, big fridge freezer everying you would need nice modern 4 seat table and chairs, TV some coffee tables, sofa clearly been redecorated, bedroom was very basic, 2 single beds basic furniture but again we literally slept there load of spare blankets and pillows old style wardrobes but huge. I slept on the double sofa bed for a change and let kids have bedroom, in fact it was much better as the single beds weren't on the big side, I have I had back but slept well the mattress was good for a sofa bed and I slept well and I am not the best sleeper, my issue was being over pool was bar noise and music, but Iam not the best sleeper so tend not to drop off till midnight and the bar closed around that time Bathroom - nice and big again clearly updated as modern compared to bedroom was plenty hot water was fine, there were 3 of us, 1 adult 2 kids 10 and 12 we had plenty room easily fit 2 adults 2 kids, We found staff lovely and helpful, reception n in ce were nice no issues we asked stuff and they helped where they could,in all we were comfortable here was a nice base, this was booked literally 1 wk before so was limited due to a lot of places being booked for NYE, would we stay again - yes if it was the best value for money and just a short break, only due to location, I have a heart issue so I think I would struggle if we had to do the walk more then a few days as said we struggled for taxis, this may have been due to NYE, and walked home from Fañabé it was hard up the last hill, so that for me is the down side of the Neptuno, but if you have hired a car there's no issue, that maybe something I'd look at as parking was OK if you dident mind looking for a spot, overall we were comfy and felt safe, the kids liked it and we found it clean and fit for what we needed and for what we paid
