Location

The hotel is located in the tourist area of Costa Adeje, on the beach front of Playa del Duque beach. Playa de las Americas is only 4 km away and is easily and quickly reached with local public transport. There is a bus stop located very close to the hotel. Tenerife South airport is 22 km away and Tenerife North airport 80 km away.

Facility

Guests can enjoy the pleasant ambience of one of the 40 villas/houses. The following room categories are also available: 46 suites and 310 double rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. The complex offers an extensive outdoor sports programme, including cycling/mountain biking, tennis, bocce, beach volleyball, volleyball, crazy golf, golf, paddle tennis, archery, fishing and horse riding. With windsurfing, canoeing, sailing, kayaking, snorkelling, diving and aquafit available, fans of water sports will have plenty to choose from. Water skiing, jet skiing, banana boat rides and catamaraning are organised by third-party operators. Guests can enjoy a wide range of indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, billiards, squash, yoga, callisthenics and aerobics. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a hammam, a beauty salon, thalassotherapy treatments and a solarium. Subject to charge: massage treatments. Leisure facilities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club and a kids' disco.

Meals

Dining facilities include a dining room, a breakfast room, a café, a bar and a pub. Guests can dine in 8 restaurants, which feature high chairs for children and air conditioning. Catering options include bed and breakfast and half board. A continental breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. At lunch, guests can choose between à la carte and a set menu. Dinner options include a buffet, à la carte and a set menu. Diet meals, gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request. The hotel also offers special catering options. The show cooking is a particularly special attraction.

    A very happy peasant child-friendly hotel.

    It’s a grand hotel but parts of it are looking a bit dated. We strongly recommend booking a room in the newer parts of the hotel. The salt-water pool and fresh-water pools were great and never crowded. Pool staff are helpful and polite . Use of the gym is open to all hotel guests, but the spa is a separate unit that attracts an entry charge of €25 per day per person. The luxurious sauna and hamam are a part of the spa and NOT part of the gym. The restaurants on the hotel grounds are of variable quality, but of course that’s subjective. The included breakfast buffet was excellent, and the servers and front of house staff at breakfast were great.

    We had an incredible stay at Bahia Del Duque. The location is unbeatable with a stunning beach right at your doorstep and breathtaking views from the property. The staff were exceptionally helpful and made us feel welcome throughout. It is a perfect spot for families, with a huge variety of top-tier restaurants to choose from. Highly recommended!

    This hotel is amazing, it’s huge, it has large gardens and a number of pools. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful without exception. The hotel opens out onto the promenade at Costa Adeje - with the playa del duque right in front of it - a lovely white sandy beach. If you walk left once you come out of the hotel there is a lovely place for ice cream, and if you keep walking for about 10 mins you come to the main strip of Adeje. Though the strip outside the hotel I think is far nicer. Great location. Amazing hotel. The food is fantastic - and not as expensive as I imagined it would be. My daughter and I ate in 2 of the restaurants - La trattoria and upalupa, the food was incredible and my 12 yr old daughter thought the same! I would highly recommend this as a holiday destination if you are looking to relax and be pampered!

    Honestly this is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in! It was recommended to us by friends and we would not hesitate to recommend it to others. The quality of service is first class and the food excellent. If we go back to Tenerife we will certainly stay there.
