  Awful. Can’t recommend this hotel. Most of the staff were rude and unhelpful

  The rooms were ok. The cleaning staff were great. The majority of the staff we found to be rude and unhelpful. The entertainment was poor & not very entertaining. We actually looked forward to going home.The hotel could improve by spending more time teaching their staff to be more pleasant to paying guests.

  Nice place but customer service ruinned our stay !!!

  The island is wonderfull, hotel is nice, breakfast & dinner buffet is enough to satisfy our needs.Location is perfect as we could find easily a free parking place.The atmosphere was a bit chill, as there were not so many people enjoying outside pool.Noise level was high only in the crowdy restaurant.Room was huge, clean,we had an newly renovated room, which we book it from the beginning. In all resort was clean . Good value for money .Reception staff help us with any demand.In fact all staff are working hard. You can enjoy breakfast or dinner at Bonanza or Interpalace Hotel, all part of Bluesea Resort, witch We did, but the evening menu is the same in all resorts (but different every evening). What we did not like was the extra cost of the drinks in the restaurant, as all are open to be used but after you get a surprise receipt on the table, which made us think if are other surprises on the buffet, maybe icecream or some types of food. 25 euros/pool towel deposit at reception and 1 euro/towel wash was also surprising us, as we came from pool wet and with no cash in the pocket. this is the first hotel where we did not find any tea or coffee in the room. All theese extra costs were nice for the tourists to be informed at the check in or to discover in a list as entering the room, not to be unpleasantly surprised as we enjoyed the facilities.Another thing, early breakfast is a joke.One day at the breakfast , the cook Juan rise voice to my son, trying to explain in spanish that the clips from egs not to be used at pancaked, as he did not realised that my 10 year old son does not speak spanish, and also did not see that the lady in front of my son took the clips from pancaked all over buffet. As the kid was looking long at Juan,and understand nothing , the cook went to the kitchen to clean the clips and talking by himself, beeing angry. The kid got scare and went to his mom crying. Now, if hotel receive international guests, how do you think a kid will know your spannish, if you ( Juan) do not speak international language, do not interact with the customers, you have a restaurant manager were you can complain and the manager for sure can explain the kid in english some rules in the restaurant. Any way i understand after that was a free circus, seeing a lot of people taking food with different clips from buffet, the clips from oranges were full of kiwi seeds every day, and the fruits sometimes smell like onions, as the boll of onions is near fruits.recomand also that the restaurant staff to smile friendly, as we came to enjoy vacation, we did not came in a hospital. In the last day, i went to pay the drinks, took the receipt, returned to the table to take my family , and as we were leaving the restaurant, the manager was stapping us from leaving, as he forgot that i was paying for the drinks 5 min ago. He remember it after i showed him the receipt. It maked me feel like a theaf.The inside pool is heated, but the level of chlorine is way too high, it took me 2 days to get read of the smell.This was our experience there, seen thru our eyes, the place is nice, but customer service need to be reshaped .

  We stayed for a long weekend trip and picked the hotel as it was good value for all inclusive trip. The hotel has 3 buildings and we were allowed to use all amenities without extra charge. Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Room was spacious and beds comfortable. As it was off peak season there wasn't many guests and that meant that it wasn't very noisy. There was plenty of sun loungers around the pools. There's 4 pools and they were kept clean throughout our stay. As it wasn't busy breakfast and dinner was served in one building and lunch in another. Food was ok. Selection wasn't very big but there was something for everyone. Coffee was good and plenty of juice to choose from. Towel rent is a bit pricey at €25 but you do get it back. Town centre is about 10-15 walk away which makes it quite convenient. I would stay here again.   Stayed at Puerto Resort from April 11th to 18th. Resort actually is part of 3 hotels,the Canarife and Bonanza Palace which have 2 adjoining swimming pools and the Interpalace which is directly across the road from the Bonanza Palace. My wife and I stayed at the Canarife Palace and although this is the older hotel and rooms dated,it was spotless. Cleaners were fab and changed sheets most days.Canarife Hotel had indoor swimming pool which is open until end of April. Evening entertainment was held here and Interpalace hotels and both had indoor bars. Now the confusing part,breakfast for those at Canarife had to use Bonanza Palace for breakfast and dinner,but you had to go to the Interpalace for lunch. Not a problem though and not sure if this is just seasonal. Food was good and lots of choice and staff were well organised in placing you at a table, and never a wait to get a table when we ate there. Drinks were decent and pool bar was at the Bonanza Palace, and people could use Interpalace also for pool. Local drinks surprisingly included Smirnoff Vodka and Gordon's Pink Gin and San Miguel on draft beer.Pool bar you had to pay 1 euro deposit for your plastic cup,but this was actually a good idea in my opinion as you never seen any empties lying around.Gym was situated on first floor at Bonanza Palace and I used this facility every day. You had to book this at reception and was limited to 4 people an hour, but only saw it full once snd actually had it all to myself. Cardio machines were all in excellent working order too. FREE Shuttle bus ran from hotel several times a day to indoor shopping centre, but could be walked in around 10 mins but lots of steps down Agatha Christie Street which is found only a few minutes away next to Mirador de La Paz.(viewing point) . Botanic Gardens is just a short walk away to and worth visiting. Clientele included lots of Spanish,French,Germans,Polish and other Eastern European countries. All in had a great time here,but beware that Puerto de la Cruz has a different climate from the south if it is sun you are looking for.Lovely around the main square, port and lido too.
