  When we arrived at the hotel there were dead and alive cockroaches in our room. I went down to reception and asked to move room to which I was told all the rooms are the same and there was no guarantee. However, the hotel did provide us with a cleaner room. We then went for breakfast of which the food was stone cold, it was the same at dinner as well. In the morning I then woke up feeling very unwell and had symptoms of food poisoning from the food at the restaurant. During our stay at this hotel the maid did not come in once so I had to ask reception for clean sheets, they didn’t even fit them for us like they do in other hotels I’ve stayed at. I was happy to fit the sheets don’t get me wrong but just seemed like the staff didn’t care and didn’t want to be bothered. There were no toilets but the pool and the ones outside reception weren’t clean so we couldn’t go swimming on our last day as we had no where to change. The only good part about staying at this hotel was the location as it’s close to the beach and had some very nice restaurants down there where we ended up eating although I had paid for half board there was no way I was eating at the hotel again.   Calm ,relaxing,perfect holiday spot

  Just back from holidays. Stayed in double bedroom apartments ( family of 4 with 2 young adult)Was bit skeptical after reading reviews but... happy didn't get scared away. Place in fabulous location. Plenty things to do and not overcrowded. Hotel itself is fine. Rooms big enough, cooking facilities in the apartment. We didn't cook as stayed in AI. Saw lots off complains about food... Have to disagree as it plenty options to choose from - 1 or 2 types of fish, chicken pork or beef , plenty salad and fresh fruit... Yes it was shool tours staying but they didn't bother us at all..maybe because we had 2 similar age lads with us 😀? Staff is helpful- had issues with the door and it was fixed before we came back from reception!Pools are lovely and plenty loungers aroundSteps...yes they there but perfectly manageable ( my son was wearing boot but got around just fine)Anyways...wanted to say to those people who complains about everything- you know you are booking budget accommodation so don't expect 5*hotel service and steaks for dinner 🤣Definitely will b back but to premium rooms ( with air-conditioning) as fans didn't do much with that heat but that's not hotels fault 😉Thank you Management Atlantida, Director General at Checkin Bungalows Atlantida, responded to this review Dear guests, thank you for choosing us for your vacation.   Gone down hill

  I have stayed here many times however this time was not the best. On arrival, we were put in a room up many stairs and steep slopes. Baring in mind my husband and mother in law are both unable to climb such high steps. We then got to our room to find we couldn’t even sit on the toilet properly as the bidet was situated and 2 inches from the toilet. The wardrobes in the bedroom did not open unless you moved the beds every time. Then the worse smell ever hit us. Sewerage!! We complained and someone came and ran the shower for a bit and said this smell would be back in a few days, due to their sewerage system. Within an hour the smell was back so I complained and we got moved. The slopes themselves are dangerous as the anti slip bits were very slippy and never been changed. A poor woman struggled to get down a ramp with her son in a wheelchair. Then there were the huge parties of teenagers that were staying. All running and screaming around the complex. Not a peaceful holiday at all. I really don’t think I will be going back there after this experience.   Lovely family holiday

  Checkin bungalow is situated perfectly for a very short walk to the beach and the shops, apartments were lovely especially if u get one with air conditioning Food was lovely, but a little samey most days, but plenty of variety Night Entertainment was good situated in the cave bar Pools were lovely and always plenty of sunbeds availableStaff were very friendly and helpfulA lovely lady( sorry cant remember ur name) who helped sort excursions and provide umbrella to take to the beach so we didnt have to pay beach prices If there was one down side which did ruin the experience it was the huge groups of teenagers that come with teachers, but are allowed to run around the complex screaming and shouting until 3am most nights which woke the children we had with us, even asking them to be quiet didnt deter them, nothing was done even when speaking to the teachers, they had no respect for anyone staying at the complex, many people were shouting out of there apartments for them to shut up, unfortunately this will stop me coming bac Management Atlantida, Director General at Checkin Bungalows Atlantida, responded to this review Dear guests, thank you for choosing us for your vacation.
