  Unsafe, Mismanaged, and Not Suitable for Families

  I strongly advise against staying at Club Tenerife Apartments. From the moment we arrived, the accommodation was dirty, poorly maintained, and misrepresented. We found cockroaches in the room, and the beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable. The sofa bed even flipped over while our children were sleeping on it.The hotel staff were intrusive and rude. They started entering our room at 9 AM even though checkout was 10 AM, demanding we leave, and refused our late checkout request, despite us having evidence to support it. Staff also entered our room without knocking multiple times during our stay. Most alarmingly, a receptionist assaulted me, forcing me to call the police for my own safety. On top of this, a random guest banged down our door, adding to the unsafe environment.The hot water is inconsistent—it starts extremely hot and scalding, but after about 10 minutes it turns cold. Noise from other guests was constant, and staff ignored repeated complaints. The manager was extremely rude, and reception hours (9 AM–5 PM) seem designed to avoid dealing with issues in the evenings. During your visit, two issues were reported to reception: noise from neighbouring guests on the first evening and the firmness of the mattresses in your apartment. Our night security addressed the noise situation, and although you requested a change of apartment, unfortunately no alternative units were available at that time. Regarding the mattresses, our maintenance team replaced them promptly during your stay. With respect to the other points mentioned in your review, we would like to clarify that during your stay no complaints were raised with reception regarding cockroaches or cleanliness. In fact, when discussing the apartment condition with the manager during your stay, you indicated that the apartment itself was in good condition. Our staff follow strict procedures regarding guest privacy. Apartments are not entered while occupied unless requested or necessary, and our team always knocks before entering. Regarding the hot water, the system installed is designed to comfortably serve the standard occupancy of the apartment. During your stay there were nine guests occupying the unit, which exceeds the designed capacity of the apartment and may affect usage of facilities such as hot water. On the day of departure, you requested a late check-out. As indicated in the booking conditions, late check-out is subject to availability and operational requirements. In this case the apartment was scheduled for cleaning and preparation for incoming guests, so unfortunately it could not be extended. When the apartment was not vacated at the agreed check-out time, the police were contacted to assist in resolving the situation. We always aim to assist our guests and address any concerns raised during their stay.   Anyone who gives these apartments any less than 4/5 stars is a SNOB! Amazing place. Small, yes but boutique and staff and accomodations are 1st rate! They even give you a welcome gift of a bottle of water and a bottle of red wine 🍷 I've see 1 star ratings on here and honestly... Get a life! As a solo traveler, I pay twice what a couple pay and it's so worth it!   One of my worse stays

  I wish I could do half stars because 2 stars is harsh but this was definitely poorer than my average stays so I can’t give it 3 either. So 2.5! The accommodation is old with thin walls. The window in my bedroom was broken and I couldn’t close it. Thank god I wasn’t on the ground floor!The pool was too small and overcrowded so I never got to go in. Security spends less time protecting from external crime and shushing guests! We weren’t victims of this but it happened a lot to the surrounding apartments which were at a very reasonable noise level.The laundry is closed at 7pm I think which means if you want to wash your clothes you need to skip a day at the beach! Everything actually stops functioning after 7pm. Bathrooms and bar/cafe are closed. Quiet time starts and that’s when security comes out. Feels like a retirement home! Very far from the beach too. The night before checkout we were given a late checkout. The morning of we were harassed by the front desk about needing to checkout at the normal time. It took a lot of back and forth but they eventually admitted that we did in fact have late checkout. It was incredibly frustrating! While I didn’t have a horrible stay, I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone because it was far below my expectations and I won’t be returning.   Great apartments,nice and clean close to restaurants and bars.long walk to the beach better rent a car or a scooter. A shopping centre very close . My teenager loved the game area.
