    Very unwelcoming

I booked as fairly central. Cleaned daily. Neighbours very noisy and over occupied. Doors slamming constantly which shook the whole building. Worse part....on day of departure wasn't even allowed to sit on the communal terrace to wait for my transfer. Was asked to leave immediately by the cleaner using Google translate. As a solo female would never book again. Totally unfriendly

    Disappointed

    rating04 Jan 2026

To be very clear we were well aware that this was a basic accommodation and booked it as such. We were late in making our booking for New Year 2025/2026 and we knew that it wasn’t going to be a 5 or even 2 star place. However we were extremely disappointed with the level of the amenities provided. 2 beds, a kettle, 2 cups & a fridge in a very sparse room. No means of eating ie plates, bowls, knifes, forks or spoons. We weren’t expecting a kitchen but come on. We had Room 106 which had seats outside but being uncovered there was no chance of shelter when it rained which unfortunately it did ( not their fault ). In saying that there was a water leak in the ceiling round the light that went onto the middle of the room.On a positive note The Smart Bakery directly downstairs was really nice and there’s plenty of amenities around so if you’re looking for a very cheap basic place to stay ……….

Don’t listen to any bad reviews!

I very nearly cancelled this booking and was looking for another hotel last min due to reading reviews after I booked. Do not be put off like I was. It’s beautifull place. Super clean, quiet, superb location. Great communication from staff via WhatsApp. I’m so impressed. It’s so off putting when you read some reviews- honestly- do not let them put you off. Will be booking again for sure

    Terrible. Avoid!!

    rating26 Jan 2025

We booked this hotel as a budget getaway so we weren't expecting 5 stars but we didn't expect something so basic and dated with a total lack of facilities. There isn't a single drawer in the apartment. The wardrobe is very small and under the eaves and not suitable for 2 people for 14 days. No air con. No TV. There's nowhere to dry your clothes on the balcony. We only had WiFi for 1.5 days of the 14 day stay and despite numerous requests for it to be fixed it never was. We had a nocturnal bug infestation in the bathroom and again despite requesting this to be addressed it never was. There's no reception so everything is done through Whatsapp which is fine if things are addressed but nothing seemed to be addressed when I repeatedly messaged. The cleaning is very hit and miss, I left a dirty towel on the floor in the living room to ask for it to be changed, the cleaner hung it back up in the bathroom! We had a dirty bath mat and the cleaner rolled it up and put it back next to the shower instead of changing it. The shower is very small and housed in what feels like a cupboard and anyone over 6ft tall wouldn't fit in it! The shower tray filled with water every time you used it so it's probably clogged up with hair and gunk. The bakery downstairs opens at 8am and they start to get ready around 6:30am so you can expect quite a lot of banging and clanking as the walls are paper thin. The ramp up to the main door is crazy steep so it's not suitable to anyone with mobility issues, put some steps in! We had a late flight back so I asked if we could leave the suitcases in the communal area for a few hours after the 12pm checkout and the answer was no as our door code wouldn't work after the 12pm checkout time! Thanks for being so unhelpful and unaccommodating!! Luckily a bar we had been using stepped in to help us out and we left the 2 cases with them until we left later. Overall a bad experience. It is a budget place but if you have the choice or can afford to spend a little more then do that as there is far better accommodation on offer in Tenerife, this is definitely the worst accommodation we've stayed in on our numerous trips to Tenerife. The only positive thing I can say is that the view from the balcony was amazing, but that unfortunately could not make up for the horrendous issues we experienced.
