Location

The hotel is situated in the attractive Costa Adeje area of South Tenerife, just 2 km from the centre of Playa de las Américas. The beach of El Duque is some 300 m away. 50 m from the hotel are links to public transport. Transfer time to Tenerife South Airport is just 15 min.

Facility

The hotel was modernised in 2025. 19 suites and 439 double rooms are located on 9 storeys and can be reached by 6 lifts. The multilingual staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to surf the internet and catch up on email. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a newspaper stand. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park (no extra charge). Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service on request, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, room service (for a fee), an alarm call service, a laundry service, a hairdresser and a page service. Rooms

Air conditioning ensures that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. In most units, guests can enjoy a partial sea view from a balcony or terrace. Most units have a sea view. Guests are sure to get a good night's sleep in the sofa bed. For young travellers, children's beds can be provided. A safe and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. A selection of pillows ensures a comfortable stay. Dining facilities include a restaurant, a dining room, a breakfast room, a café and a lobby bar. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board, full board and all-inclusive. All-inclusive holidaymakers enjoy special extras like snacks, in addition to a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. A delicious and varied buffet awaits guests at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Diet meals, gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes, lactose-free food and vegan food can be prepared on request. Baby food (on request) provides for little ones' well being. In addition, special catering options and picnics are available. The show cooking is a particularly special attraction.     I recently stayed at GF Gran Costa Adeje and had a genuinely great experience.Travelling solo for the first time can feel a bit daunting but the team made it so easy from the start. I was made to feel comfortable straight away and that continued throughout the whole stay.The service really stood out. Everyone was approachable, attentive and professional, and it created such a relaxed atmosphere across the hotel. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble.A special thank you to the young girl on reception who was incredibly kind and welcoming, and to the team for the room upgrade which I really appreciated. It was a lovely surprise and made the stay even better.Overall it was a very smooth and enjoyable experience and exactly what I needed at the time. I would happily return in the future.     Great welcome, food excellent although only had breakfast, but something for everyone! Children’s pools warm, all areas very clean!     This us probably going to be the shortest review ever of mine..simply put.. no hassle at all! Arrived late however a lovely welcome at reception with a couple of tickets for free drinks! Such we partook in at the bar after very quickly freshening upDue to arriving late we managed to get a couple of sandwiches, drinks and crisps from a 24 hour shop..5 min walk .. go to the entrance and turn right..The rooms are modern, Spacious and have all facilities you'd need.. or balcony had a fairly boring view but we barely spent any time in the room! Aircon worked well.. loved the shower..shower gel, shampoo, lotion all available in the bathroom Fridge adequate size for a few bottles! If you've never been to this hotel is huge.. still getting lost on the last day..not aided by some of the lifts not servicing all floors! Breakfast has everything you would want! Bacon, sausages, eggs, toasties, omelette, cheeses, cold meats, cereals, pastries.. the list goes on and on.. who ARE these people who didn't like the Breakfasts!!! Dining room usual canteeny style.. waiters bring coffee and tea..just ask for a pot for your tea..otherwise you'll only get a thimble full of hot waterWe went bed and breakfast..so no idea about anything else re food.. what i would say though is there are 100s of fabulous restaurants in costa adeje.. if you dont ever eat out during your stay your are really missing out.. Food and bars either really close in the local arcade 5 min walk or 10 mins to others Hotel facilities are lovely..swimming pools the hotel's jewel in its crown.. it was rubbish weather when we were there but still managed to swim in the roof top pool and the pool with the bridge..perfectly warm enough The hotel had loads of sunbeds so no idea why people reserve apart from entitlement..we never had a problemAdult rooftop is a great place for tranquility Can't comment on entertainment or evenings as we didn't stay in.. you really dont need to..most of the bars have live music On our last day you can book a courtesy room for half an hour to shower etc..just book early as not loads of slots..towels provided in the room We would definitely go back just not in rainy March!     We’re on our last day here at GF Gran and we’ve had a good stay. Check in was simple and efficient. Nice welcome drink on arrival. Staff all very friendly. We had two superior rooms which are a good size and comfortable. Nice beds. Nice sea views. Breakfast was pretty good. Pretty repetitive and some of the items were cold and not great quality but there’s plenty to choose from. Omelette station was good. Never had an issue with sunbeds. There’s loads. But they do come round before 10am and if you’re not sat there they take your stuff away and leave them free. Adults only area upstairs is nice and very relaxing, and it has a pool too. Pools are nice although a little chilly but understandable for time of year. Location is good. Plenty nearby and maybe a 10min walkTo the beach although it’s all uphill on the way back. Taxis are cost effective enough and they arrive literally in seconds after reception requesting them. Very quick. Overall it was nice but having stayed at GF Victoria it’s nowhere near the same level. But it’s definitely a step up from GF Isabel which is just around the corner. Would we stay again, probably not.     A large resort hotel which we chose for a short break. Our original was cancelled due to problems in the Gulf.The resort offered plenty for the family in terms of facilities. The site and rooms were immaculate and comfortable. The staff were professional if a little brusque at times even patronising.Sadly the pools were freezing not sure why other than the heating if there was any wasn't working. This was a pity as so many families centred their activity around the pools. The adult only pool on the 6th floor whilst cold was not as bad. The area was an oasis of peace which we appreciated.We had half board with buffet breakfast and dinner. The choice was immense. We found breakfast was good but struggled with the themed options at dinner, not to our taste. Others would be fine. Due to the number of guests the restaurant is more of a canteen and not really somewhere to linger. Q Why is water provided at breakfast but spring water is sold at Dinner (disappointing)We suffered with internet, tv and room telephone issues during our stay and the team member who investigated the problem informed us that it was a router issue in the building and a contractor would visit to rectify. The receptionist when asked for progress report told us there was no problem! Maybe we made it up.If you visit later in the year then any teething issues should be ironed out and you will have an enjoyable family holiday.
