  Beautiful Hotel in a wonderful location

  Hotel reception ,rooms ,buffet restaurant ,pools and grounds were all beautifulHouse keeping was fabulousStaff were all really friendly The gate at the bottom of the hotel is perfect for access to the beach supermarket and beautiful bars and restaurantsMy only gripe was the hotel didn’t seem to have a policy regardingTowels on sunbeds most were reserved by people who weren’t using them and some weren’t used for hours on end We had a wonderful holiday at Gran Tacande and wouldn’t hesitate in staying again

  Currently here in end of April, staying bed and breakfast, hotel clean, we have a room over the pool, rooms are large strange having bath in middle of room, rooms need updating very tiered look like they are from 1980, pool is immaculate and very clean, breakfast is good lots of choice and good quality, not many activities going on during day would benefit from some background music but that’s just me, not cheap for food in resort full stop, eat out don’t do all inclusive loads of places to eat, lovely shopping centre near by but prices more expensive than UK, would I stay here again probably not, nothing wrong with it just outdated rooms let it down

  Travelled here as a solo traveller and have to say I felt very safe. I was also treated exactly the same as everyone else; sometimes solo travellers can be made to feel uneasy asking for a table for one or sitting at sun loungers with a spare one next to it. Rooms were great on the whole. Comfortable and great bedding. It felt clean but there were little things that could’ve been improved such as blood stain on the wall and dust on skirting boards. I was upgraded from a suite to a gold level suite because they’d sold out. They told me that I wouldn’t be entitled to use gold facilities which i understand but equally if I were the manager I would give access to the gold level pool.   Beautiful family holiday in a fab hotel

  Just returned from 10 nights at the Gran Tacande. This is a lovely hotel with great amenities. We had two rooms for our family of five. The rooms were huge! The hotel itself is so well maintained. Staff at breakfast were brilliant. Service throughout was excellent and nothing was ever a bother.   Beautiful Hotel , superb location.

  We stayed in Room 441 with partial sea view & balcony. It was away from the lifts which was a bonus as it can get a little noisy near the lifts.The hotel is beautiful and smelt gorgeous from the moment you walked in. Our room was lovely with a balcony and lovey cosy seating area. There were also a small discreet washing line to hang wet swimming costumes etc..The hotel is very central, lots of food/restaurants/ supermarkets places available within a very short walk. It also has access to the beach and shops at the back which was a bonus.Also some great designer shops across the road from the front of the hotel.The pools are Salt water & there are some activities poolside like aqua biking or Meditation.The Gym has excellent equipment better than most gyms I've visited.The Spa was lovely, I had a back,neck & shoulder massage which I highly recommend.Breakfast choices are vast and plentiful whether you're looking for omelettes, pastries, porridge or fruits you won't be disappointed. So much to choose from.Dinner choices were okay but not varied enough if you were staying for more than 1 week.Evening entertainment at the Bar was good something for everyone adults and children.If we returned we would not do half board as the food choices available near the hotel are plentiful and very affordable.If I could change anything it would be the bathrooms/shower/toilet there really is no privacy. Every sound is heard throughout the room if you know what I mean, not nice if you have a bad stomach 🤭Also the bathtub in the bedroom is a bit unnecessary as when getting up in the middle of the night you could easily walk into it so be careful.Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel the staff are friendly and make you feel at home. I feel it have to give a special shout out to'Cesar Adrian' looked after us during breakfast & dinner. He makes a fantastic latte & is so helpful.'Adrian' - served us drinks & food by the pool most days and went above and beyond.'Virginia' who checked us in for breakfast & dinner most days was so lovely and friendly.The staff are a real credit to this hotel if we had a problem it was resolved very quickly.
