    Booked the Granda Park through Jet2 holidays and the price we paid thankfully was very cheap.Following reading reviews on here we requested room 254 and we got this .. views were amazing and yes you got the sun all day. Amazing sunsets Pool area well spacious and comfortable plenty of sunbed Room was serviced dailyNow for the negatives .. room very dated, we did get the odd whiff of a sewage smell from the bathroom. Kitchen equipment very limited if you did want to cook.Apartments are very way out of the resort, up very steep hills, definitely need taxis to get back.I would return if we got an amazing deal again for a very cheap & cheerful holiday.

    This hotel is excellent if you like a well maintained calm hotel with no entertainment. The rooms are huge, the pool area is large, it was fully booked when I was there and you’d never know it’s very peaceful. The on site bar/restaurant sells very decent food at very cheap prices. Lager €3.20 and a wine €2.50. Kids apple juice comes by the pint for about €1.50 as well. On site supermarket perfectly reasonably priced as well. Doesn’t have a huge amount but you’ll get water, juice, beer, wine, crisps etc. The staff are excellent in the bar and reception. Now the negatives. It’s miles from anywhere and it’s up a mountain. I had read this and was happy to give it a chance given how cheap it is and for its proximity to Aqualand and Siam Park. Both are under €10 in a taxi, reception will get you a taxi in seconds as they have a direct link on their computer. There’s a little mini bus that you can get twice a day in the morning to Las Americas for a wander around and then a taxi back is about €7. Bus does pick up again at 5:30pm so if you’re going for a lie on the beach all day you can get that. You could walk down but you’d need to know where you’re going as theres busy roads to navigate and it’s a good 20-30 minutes to even find a bar. We ate in the hotel all but the first night and as we’re early bed people the 9pm closure of the bar didn’t bother us at all. Opens from 8am and serves a decent breakfast (although swimming in beans). All in all this is a great budget hotel but if calm and no entertainment is your thing.

    Lovely Apartments although a little far out.

    Back from our first stay at Granada Park. On review we thought it was a little far out of the resort for our preference but such a good deal was available we decided to give it a try and utilise some of the saving on using taxi’s. On the recommendation of a previous reviewer, I requested room 254 which we were kindly allocated and it was absolutely idea for us, at the top of the complex away from the pool and with full sun on the balcony all day and a beautiful sunset view early evening. Was lovely sat in the sunshine either having a coffee in the morning or a late afternoon beer. Just needed to contend with the steep incline from the Reception area to the room. The one bedroom apartment was an excellent size and we liked the kitchen area being separated from the living area. The complex is located approx 20 – 25 mins walk from Las Vistas beach or Los Cristinanos and the walk back includes a steep hill which people need to consider. There is a shuttle bus at 10.30am and 11.30am to the Safari Centre with a return at 5.30pm which we utilised twice in the mornings. The reception staff were lovely and helpful booking taxi’s. We did not use the pool or the snack bar. Overall, a lovely complex but realistically we would not use again due to the locality.

    Rooms are spacious, lovely apartments. Pool area was never busy, you could always get a sunbed. Snack bar was reasonably priced and food was lovely. Staff are really friendly and you get maid service 5 days a week. Only downfall is there is nothing near you for about 20 minutes, to walk into Americas will take 25 mins and it’s up or down hill. We got taxis everywhere and reception will organise these for you. The free bus is only twice a day one at 10:30 and the other is 11:30 and once coming back at 5:30 and this drops you at the Hard Rock Cafe.

    Pool side bar and snacks thieving waiter

    Went down to the pool side bar and the man on the till overcharged me by £13. When I pulled him over this he gave me the difference with no apology and his excuse was the glove caught the order button and added a extra coffee and a extra meal, to follow on from this the meal was inedible on both meals the chips where cold the bread was that hard it was uneatable the rest of the meal was swimming in grease, never had such poor service and blatant theft in my life, the hotel and room where exceptional but spoilt by the thief in the snack bar
