    Great Boutique Hotel

    rating22 Apr 2026

This was our 4th stay and would always stay when we visit Tenerife . It’s spotlessly clean and in a great spot . The staff are helpful and friendly. Our sea view room had a huge balcony with sun beds . We only have breakfast so can’t comment on the evening meal . The breakfast is varied and plentiful and our only minor moan ( sounds trivial I know ) is the fried eggs look like they have been in a car crash - burnt at the bottom and very under done on the top . As I say just a minor moan - would stay again in a heartbeat ❤️ Xavier Garcia, Director General at H10 Big Sur - Adults Only, responded to this review Dear SUSANWestYorkshire,Thank you so much for taking the time to share a review of your recent stay with us. Disappointing Hotel - Beware of Leaking Ceiling

    rating20 Apr 2026

If you look through these reviews you will see that many people really like this hotel and give it 5 stars. I can see what they like and why they go these year after year but our experience was not so good.We paid for a sea view room and we were given room 121 on the first floor right at the north end of the hotel. Yes, we could just see the sea through the big trees in the way. It is smaller than most of the other rooms. It’s also right above the bar so we had nightly entertainment delivered to our room regardless of whether we wanted it or not. I believe they gave us probably the worst room in the hotel. If you look at a picture of the hotel you can see that the balconies on the first and second floors stick out from the rest of the building. So the ceiling of a first floor room is the balcony floor of the room above. On our last night there was a big storm with lots of rain. The rain come into our room via a light fitting in the ceiling - electricity and water make a very dangerous hazard! The bed, bedside cabinetwork and everything on it were soaked. We called reception and a man came to look. He went away and came later to tell us to move to another room for the night. A much nicer room than ours but the view at the back of the hotel is awful. Look at some of the 3 star (and less) reviews to see comments about the views from the rear of the hotel. Apart from that the hotel is old and looks tired in places. The lifts are old and slow. The carpet in the corridor to our room was threadbare in places, not what we expected for such an expensive hotel Xavier Garcia, Director General at H10 Big Sur - Adults Only, responded to this review Dear A1994VFdavidh,Thank you so much for taking the time to share a review of your recent stay with us.We have taken note of all your comments. We regret not having met your expectations and hope that you will give us another opportunity in the future.Kind regards,Xavier Garcia, General Manager

    Well worth a visit

    rating15 Apr 2026

Stayed for 7 nights in AprilReception staff very friendly on arrival with complimentary glass of fizz most welcome . Explained everything we needed to know Stayed in a terrace room on floor 2 Great view of pool and sea across promenade . Ferries are constant but we quite enjoy that activity . Pool very clean and spacious with plants of subbed although I suspect not so easy in peak season but if you go with terrace with sea view you have sun lingers and chairs on the terrace with lots of sun through the day Rooms are clean and made daily with a weekly sheet change . Nice touch for our level of room of a gift left in room daily . Not sure if this applies to all gradesBreakfast was good but we didn’t try evening meal as we prefer to dine out Position very good with only a short walk to the resort restaurants with amply very close . Americanos only a 30-40 minute stroll Overall a really nice stay and would def go back Xavier Garcia, Director General at H10 Big Sur - Adults Only, responded to this review Dear David D,Thank you so much for taking the time to share a review of your recent stay with us. 5 day break

    rating08 Apr 2026

Came with my daughter for a nice break 3-8 April, we arrived at the hotel at 1pm being dropped off by coach st the road side of the hotel. There is a very large slope down to the hotel I nearly list my case as it was running away from me, im sure some like myself found this difficult! We were greeted by the lovely Llana who checked us in and gave us a glass of cava, most welcome. Our room was ready as the hotel was exceptionally quiet. Room 312 nice sea view and twin beds as requested. I'd asked for mattress toppers in advance but still needed more as beds very firm but was fine with 4 on!! Housekeeping and ALLataff across this hotel outstanding. Food lovely, but often Luke warm. Eggs and bacon pre fried so ask chef to fry more whole u wait. Great coice of food. Reall6 good entertainment at night but only on 9.15-10.15 its not long enough, then no background music after that. Weather was nice while we were there and only a handful of people round the pool. Great location on the beach, bars & restaurants plentiful, nice holiday, with a few weeks would have given 5 stars.
