Location

29 junior suites and 438 double rooms are located on 4 storeys and can be reached by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well.     This is our second time staying at Adeje Palace. On arrival we checked into a room which was below the standard of the room we had booked last time (both were standard rooms) .. the bathroom had a smell, there were 2 balconies - the main one did not lock and the other had a 2 inch gap underneath letting in light and noise. Of course we went straight to reception to deal with this issue and were told there were no rooms available and they couldn’t do anything. We spend the day by the pool and in the evening we asked again and nothing had changed, it was our idea to upgrade to a family room and paid for the difference (which was more than the difference online but we didn’t care we needed a new room). We reported this to the manager on the same day and sadly they had been told an entirely different story from the reception staff saying they OFFERED us the upgrade free of charge on the spot. The audacity… absolute lies. And absolutely no refund was offered or a percentage given back to us offered. After much back and forth over email they realised there were some major miscommunications (LIES) from the reception staff. A few days in and the room beside us began having renovations done so we were woken up at 8am on a 3 occasions due to the banging, loud voices and machinery noise from next door. I don’t understand why they couldn’t do it during the day when people are in the sun. The pool facilities are good, lots of pools to choose from and plenty of loungers. The restaurant staff were in general helpful. I have a gluten free allergy and was disappointed by the lack of labelling . They make it very inaccessible for those with allergies … even asking for gluten free bread every morning, I had to stand around for 5 minutes while they defrosted it even though I had it every day, they never had any prepared. On a few occasions I had to ask 2 or 3 members of staff just for some bread and it just made breakfast that big more of a hassle.On checkout that was probably our smoothest transition however when we handed in our wrist bands they tried to charge us twice for using the safety box in our room.Overall I am saddened by our stay especially as it was our second time here, we had a very different experience this time.

    We had an awesome week at this hotel and can’t understand any of the bad reviews. Hotel is beautiful, gardens beautiful, pools fab , someone moaning over heated pools , go to the front pool it’s warm! Food - plentiful to choose from.Staff people saying staff miserable I beg to differ they were all absolutely gorgeous to us. Location - fantastic! We like walking into la Caletta across little walkway on beach only 10 min walk. Rooms - warrant a 4 star they claim the hotel to be. First night we found bed so hard but told housekeeper and she sorted it for us straight away. Don’t let people put you off going this hotel - it’s going to be a great holiday if you choose it.

    Room was substandard,asked to change,Told all rooms fully booked,would email me if a room was free next day.5pm no email,reception still saying no rooms I look online A family room free all week Ask to upgrade immediately (as did not want to sleep in the room)& pay the online diff of €142.35,I had to pay €280 ‘technical reason’. Hard sell to upgrade to all inclusive. CC not understanding and getting their information incorrect.Ask for a late check out , need to pay more money.Reception staff very unfriendly/ unhelpful.
