Location

This aparthotel is situated in the tourist centre of Los Cristianos, approximately 500 m from the beach and 400 m from the town centre. The hotel is well situated for access to the public transport network with links located just 150 metres away. There are scores of restaurants, bars, restaurants and shopping venues to be found in the surrounding area (within 300 m of the hotel).

Facility

The apartment complex has 260 apartments, which are located on 3 storeys and are reachable by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. Rooms

Rooms feature a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom. A fan ensures comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the view of the pool from a balcony or terrace. Rooms include a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a desk are also available. For self-catering guests, there is a well-equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, stovetop, microwave and tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower, a bathtub and a bidet. Sport

Whether more active or in need of rest and relaxation, guests can unwind at the pool complex, which includes a children's area and a total of 2 swimming pools. Sun loungers and parasols are available on the sun terrace. There is a poolside snack bar as well. The complex offers an extensive outdoor sports programme, including cycling/mountain biking, golf, fishing and horse riding. With windsurfing, canoeing, snorkelling and diving available, fans of water sports will have plenty to choose from. Sport and leisure facilities at the apartment complex include a gym, billiards and squash. A spa, a sauna and solarium are available in the wellness area. Activity coordinators organise an entertainment programme for adults and children.

Meals

Dining facilities include a restaurant, a café, a bar and a pub. Catering options include bed and breakfast and half board. At breakfast and dinner, guests serve themselves at the generous buffet. Various dishes can be ordered à la carte for lunch and dinner.

    We’ve just returned from a week’s break over the Easter holidays at Cristian Sur Apartments as a family of five, and overall we had a really enjoyable stay.We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment split over two levels, which gave us plenty of space as a family. The complex is in a fantastic location, with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, as well as a great supermarket on site, which made things very convenient. The complex also has its own restaurant serving lovely food—it was always busy from morning until late at night, which says a lot about its quality.There were plenty of positives during our stay. While you do need to be down by around 8:45am to secure a sunbed, it didn’t feel overly hectic or stressful. The atmosphere was very relaxed and quiet overall. The staff were all very friendly, with a special mention to the lifeguard at the heated pool, who was particularly welcoming. The pool itself was a real highlight—beautifully heated and perfect for both adults and children.That said, there were a couple of downsides. The lack of air conditioning or even ceiling fans made it quite uncomfortable to sleep at night. Additionally, we unfortunately encountered cockroaches in the kitchen every morning, which didn’t improve throughout the stay and was disappointing.Would we return? Absolutely—but next time we would likely book privately to secure a more modern apartment with air conditioning.Overall, Cristian Sur Apartments offers great value in an excellent location, with a friendly atmosphere and lovely facilities, but there are a few areas that could be improved.

    Just got back from the apartments and would never stay there again and I’m not fussy when it comes to holidays! Pros:Fantastic location as we were self catering there were plenty of places we grabbed stuff for lunches. Apartment was cleaned regularly and had fresh towels every other day. Cons: We were on the fourth floor with no lifts and it was a trek going up and down the narrow stairs. Had to pay for Wi-Fi and was about 20 euro for 7 days for only 2 devices! Our room was over the bar so got woken up early every morning when the chairs were being dragged across the tiles whilst staff set up for the day. Night time was horrendously noisy with both adults and children screaming and shouting until gone midnight.Had hot water for showers for about 3 minutes every night and then it ran cold- not good for a family of four! Good luck getting a sunbed! They are unlocked around 9am and there are people waiting around at least half an hour beforehand marking their territory by placing their towels on the ground! We were able to get a couple of beds on 2-3 days but refused to wait at the poolside for them to be unlocked. Large sign said towels would be removed if you reserved a sunbed but never saw this happening. Lifeguard was strict about Lilos, balls and sinkers only being allowed to be used in 1 out of the 4 pools so that was overcrowded. This moves me onto my last con which are the older generation who have bought their apartments. They get the same sunbathing spots everyday but don’t appear until after lunch leaving their sun beds unused the majority of the day. They tie cushions onto the sun beds as they aren’t comfortable- just plastic and give you lots of dirty looks if you dare go in the pool and splash around like you are suppose to use a pool on holiday!

    Stayed here in April, decent and clean but a massive flaw is the sunbed situation, not enough of them and we were forced to go the beach most days as we had nowhere to relax. Plenty space for more but unfortunately there was none unless you reserve some at 7am. Elderly people will struggle on arrival taking luggage to rooms as there's no lifts either and stairs are steep if you're on the upper floors. Can't fault the rooms and food but pool area a let down.

    A super-friendly hotel with fantastic staff!I highly recommend HG Tenerife Sur in every way. Fresh and clean rooms (the housekeeping staff are incredibly helpful), a great location, a heated pool year-round, enjoyable musical entertainment every evening, and above all, exceptionally service-oriented, efficient, and friendly staff throughout the hotel. We stayed on the top floor with a rooftop terrace and an unparalleled view of Los Cristianos! The head receptionist is absolutely phenomenal and incredibly dedicated to taking care of the hotel’s guests in the best possible way. 5 stars to the hotel and its helpful staff!

    I enjoyed the fact that there was 6 different pools ranging from a deep one going down to 2.05 and a medium pool with it's deepest being 1.45 and being very warm compared to the cold pool and a baby pool being very shallow also lots of shops within less than a range between 1-5 minutes unless you take the 10 minute walk to the beach with a plentiful amount of shops and beautiful restaurants and in the dock there is a tunnel leading to even more beach and restaurants all tasting lovely.A few downsides is the reception is next to invisible and at night it's very hard to tell the reception which is a box on the right of the building facing out to the street. now back to goods is there is a grill called The Fox and it serves extravagant foods tasting great relatively cheep but huge and especially trying the jumbo pork chops taking half a huge plate with crackling the size of your palm and tasting so nice. Los Christian sur is a nice big hotel just a bit of a maze in the first part
