    Great little traditional Canarian hotel with antiques,hidden rooms and polished floorsWe arrived by bus early ,check in is 2pm but our room was ready and we were allowed an early check in which was greatOur room had a great view with a balcony and was really quietThere was a safe in the room,a kettle and small fridgeBreakfast was traditional European with cheeses ,cooked meats and eggs.Cakes and breads tooWe only saw one staff member and she was helpful and efficientThe hotel is situated in a quiet area but easy walking to the centre of town and the attractions.We found the room a little cool (it was December )and the room would have benefited from a heaterAlso I’m not keen on shower curtainsI would imagine the rooms on the front by the road could get noisy so if you want a quite room ask for a room with a balcony at the back.We HIGHLY recommend this hotel

    What a beautiful hotel, classic in appearance and well run. Everything was spotless and the service was excellent.We were staying in Tenerife in Fababe for 2 weeks and just wanted a quiet couple of days away, and this hotel was perfect.Oh, and remember to bring an appetite to breakfast.

    Small simple traditional central hotel

    Very old fashioned simple hotel in the centre of Icod. No permanent staff, phone number on front door of pedestrianised street. Simple bedroom over looking street, with two single beds pushed together to appear as a double. No air-conditioning, no safe, very posh shower cubicle in small bathroom. Cool courtyard with 24hour self service coffee, tea and wine. Breakfast room attached to courtyard with simple buffet and eggs cooked to order.The free car park is underground several hundred metres down the hill from the hotel. But it would be possible to drop luggage off at the end of the street outside Beneton.

    This hotel has a great deal to recommend it. It's in a delightful old building that has been lovingly looked after, with shining woodwork everywhere and generously proportioned bedrooms (as well as extensive public rooms). However, it would be wrong to suggest that it's all old-fashioned: the TV was hi-spec and the wifi functioned very well. The breakfast too was excellent, with great choice. All in all, it probably the best of the four places we stayed in during a recent visit to Tenerife. Highly recommended.

    Took a bit of time getting in but the staff very helpful once in with advice on restaurants etc. Our room very large and amazing building but almost too dark to read by. Roof terrace and garden plus public rooms made up for it. Good continental breakfast. We amended our booking to 2 nights from 3 . There was street parking but like a lot of Tenerife it is a lottery.
