    Really enjoyed this - Almogrote followed by fried chicken and canary potatoes with mojo sauces. Seemed pretty authentic. Particularly enjoyed the bill - last place on earth where you can get a beer for 2€. Would have said cheap and cheerful but one of the waitresses spoilt that description. Decor inside a bit weird too.

    Staff was very friendly and we had a warm welcome. We ordered the rabbit and the pork sirloin. The pork was dry and the rabbit was tasty, but consisted mostly of inedible bones. For some reason the pork was accompanied by French fries, but the rabbit didn't have any garnishing. This wasn't mentioned on the menu.

    We didn’t stay in the hotel so can’t comment on that other than to say it looked really nice. We stopped by at lunchtime for some tapas and beer and were very pleasantly surprised. The tapas we had were delicious, particularly the churros pescado (spelling?). The staff were incredibly friendly and we communicated just fine despite them having as little English as we had Spanish. To top it all, it was great value, with a large beer only about a Euro. Off the beaten track, but a hidden gem.
