Location

Located at the south of Tenerife, 12 km from Playa de Las Américas (with a bus stop only 500 m away), this hotel is built in the middle of a volcanic landscape near Las Galletas, profiting from the sunniest area of the island where tropical vegetation and desert landscapes meet. It is situated in a large and splendid 3.5-hectare park in Costa del Silencio. It is 1.5 km from the pebble beach and approximately 1 km from the small village of Las Galletas.

Facility

128 rooms are located on 2 storeys and can be reached by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk are happy to answer any questions. A baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The apartment complex has wheelchair-accessible facilities. Everyday necessities can be purchased at the supermarket. The grounds of the complex feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park. Most of rooms include a balcony or terrace as a standard feature. The rooms have a double bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe provides secure storage for guests' personal property. The kitchenette comes with a refrigerator and a tea/coffee station. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi ensure optimal comfort. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub.     traveled here as a friend was staying in costa del Silencio at the time. stayed for 5 nights. the hotel is located in the middle of the town which is good for walking to anywhere in the local area however there isn't a great deal there (shops/bars/food) The rooms are a bit dated but did the job. bed was comfy enough however the rooms are old lock and key type which can be bothersome to keep on you compared to a key card. the room was cleaned daily and had no issues around the cleanliness of the room or hotel in general for that matter. the atmosphere was good! as I was traveling solo I got to know a few other travelers of which a few of them were frequent visitors to the hotel from previous good experience and cheap price. the all inclusive finishes at 10PM along with the entertainment, after this the hotel is very quiet. the bar service is good and the staff are friendly. can sometimes be busy when there is only one member of bar staff on at the pool. the all inc food is good and always something different on everyday.in the day the pool is busy and the entertainment team work well with several activities both day and night. There is a bus stop a short walk from the hotel which takes you into playa de las americas for only a couple of euro but can take 40-50 minutes each way. Overall I would definitely consider this hotel as it is very budget friendly and not as bad as some make out.

    NIce quiet location. Lots of people, including ourselves, return mulitple times. Excellent value for money, rooms are basic but kept clean and well maintained. The staff are always friendly and helpful, Andona from the bar was great with all of the customers. Looking forward to returning next year.     Fabulous place, great food, insane value

    WE read plenty of reviews before we went and you would be forgiven for some nervousness. Set it aside. Happy to go into detail but let's get two things out there immediately - this lovely complex is unbelievable value for money and it is just a fabulous place to be. We had a two bedroom apartment for 5 adults and it was clean, cool and roomy. We were at the back of the complex and there were trees full of parakeets right outside our balcony, a total delight. There was basic entertainment each evening that wrapped up around 10pm, inoffensive but don't expect superstars! Not my thing, but people enjoyed it. The pool is a good size and had plenty of loungers, got some swimming done and enjoyed it. The staff are friendly and attentive, do everything needful. There are a few shops nearby and some bigger towns a walk or bus ride away, so it's a quiet base with reasonable links to outside. Star of the show is the food. How do they do it for the money? No idea. Great variety, good salads, even goat and rabbit turned up alongside more usual meats and fish.     Good meals, great staff, safe and peaceful environment

    My husband and I stayed in Palia Don Pedro in Los Silencio for 8 weeks from the beginning of December to the end of January. Our suite was bare, no cabinet doors in the bedroom's wardrobe. But who spends much time inside hotel rooms during the stay? The rooms were cleaned everyday, so also public facilities. The big minus was the insufficient WiFi connections when you bought connections to be used in the rooms from the reseption. It wasn't worth watching movies/series from your own laptop connected to the big television screen by your own wires in the evenings.The staff was great, smiley, helpful and had a good command of languages.The atmosphere among hotel guests was international. and relatively peaceful.The hotel was also situated in a peaceful area . In case you love walking or running, Los Silencio is the area for you. The nearby little fishing town Las Galletas is worth visiting, also on foot .Meals during lunch and dinner were versatile and tasty. Fish dishes and clams were our favorites. Breakfast was conventional. Maybe the hotel could develop the breakfast concept a bit.On the whole despite the shortcomings we shall more likely return back to Palia Don Pedro next December.Thank you!     Ignore bad reviews, it was brilliant

    The hotel isn’t far from the airport. Check in was quick. We were out on a ground floor room which is great because I struggle with stairs. We had two single beds but just pushed them together so no biggie.. the food was lovely and always was something to eat whether at the food hall or at the bar from 8am to 10.30pm. the guys in entertainment were friendly and encouraged you to do things but weren’t annoying or pushy. the pool was cold but that’s not the hotels fault. Plenty of people used it so couldn’t have been that cold. We didn’t expect room service daily because they said they didn’t do it daily but they came everyday to make the bed and empty bins., yes there was no kettle but I brought my own with me. I can’t understand why people are giving bad reviews because I really loved staying there. Yes it was dated decor but not the end of the world.
