DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL !!!! Currently staying here as im writing this .I can't wait to go home ..first room I had felt like a prison room so upgraded for another 135 euros ... the room im Currently in is nice (with balcony) but next door are renovating and last 3 -4 days it's a worksite ,,the noise of drilling and banging is unbearable thank god i leave tomorrow !!!! Headache from hell I will never be returning here

Booked for one night stay in a hurry and this was the cheapest and nearest option. Checking in was easy but the hotel itself was terrible. The hotel tropical is dark inside, lifeless and feels abandoned. Rooms are very dated, dirty stains on the bath, black mould on the ceiling and other people's hairs all over the place. Beds were hard, pillows were lumpy and bed sheets had cigarette burns in them. Cock roaches in the bathroom and live electrical wires in the cupboard. Rooms were also very loud with barely any sound isolation. We actually didn't feel safe there as it felt very sketchy and unprofessional.

Do not go there !!!Disgusting and filthy,full of cockroaches.Unprofessional rude staff.TV did not work in room.Really noisy in street until midnight.Hotel so run down.Entrance so hard to find.Takes ages to check in and out,I receptionist,lots of people in the queue.Management have 0 interest.Drug addicts and alcoholics nearby.This dirty hotel needs to be investigsted ASAP !!!

Great location for plaza del charco, the downside is it is very noisy till midnight as it's near the Acton. Very comfy bed, room is basic and clean, but the small kitchen was useful. WiFi was good and the TV had some English channels. There is no bar here at all which we found good as it meant no awful music by the pool. Lots of bars 2 mins from the door. We did find certain guests annoying as they would play music on their phones without head phones. A notice by the pool asking guests NOT to do this would be very helpful, not everyone has the same taste in music.

My new favourite place to stay in Tenerife North. Everything was absolutely perfect.I was a bit dubious after reading reviews but can happily say I’m glad I ignored them. Location is right in the heart of Puerto De La Cruz. Shops, bars, restaurants and ATM’s on the doorstep.Staff very friendly and helpful.I had a budget single room which was a more spacious than I was expecting. Bed very comfortable, good shower, microwave, kettle, tv, mini fridge and nice sized wardrobe with extra bedding if needed. The room and hotels were very clean. Lovely rooftop swimming pools and numerous chill areas and tables. Great breakfast and lots to choose from. I liked it that much I’ve extended my stay another few while I do some remote work. Perfect.
