  Good value wee place

  I got this over night stay on an excellent deal through Groupon. The hotel rooms were lovely, however there was a problem with the water so we had no running water for our stay which wasnt ideal, however we were only there for one night. This wee place could potentially be absolutely stunning as it is idyllic, natural and they have some lovely decor both outside and in. Id bring plenty of snacks, drinks etc as the bar closes by about 9pm and there are no facilities near by. we ended up ordering a pizza from Roys. For the price i paid i have given it a 4 as it was a pleasant wee place and if we had had water it would have been better.

  Breakfast was the only food available and defo not worth £18 a shot! The one member of staff was lovely and as helpful as she could be. It is in a bit of a building site (which with a few trees could be ignored). I believe its closing soon - it could be amazing, but at the mo its not.

  The only reason I have had to take off one mark is because the water was not working for the full 24 hours that we stayed and there was limited hot food options at breakfast and the bar area closed by 9pm. Apart from that the place was clean, quirky with beautiful art work on each wall of every bedroom area. There is a pool plenty of loungers. We would come back again as it is peaceful, has Netflix and is good for quality chill out time together.

  We (Me & a Friend) visited on a Friday night in February for a one night stay … We booked via booking.com and was advertised as all inclusive …… definitely not all included …We paid for everything we had . (Very Deceptive website ) We arrived at around 3pm and by 5pm we were ready for something to eat …I went spoke to the lady and she said …. “We only serve food from 6pm and you can ONLY have steak” it wasn’t really what we wanted but as this was the only option we were told , I ordered 2 steaks …… The food was amazing …… but once we finished , we were left with a bill for €107.00 ….. ??? Eventually after a lot of conversations with the manager , we got a reduction …. The site was un-manned after 11pm ?! There was nowhere to get water or ask for assistance…. It’s basically like camping …. But fancy ….. !! Bottle of water was €3.50 ….. it’s trying very hard to be WAY to fancy …. Doesn’t need to be , as the location is great … and the gardens and surrounding were lovely !! Perfect if ALL you want to do , I lay by the pool in the day then go to bed at 9pm every night ?? We also only stayed one night , and had the maid banging on the door to clean our room @ 8:45am ….. even though checkout wasn’t til 11am? … Wouldn’t visit again …. irina F, Marketing at La Casa Nova, responded to this review Dear Jackos,Thank you for your feedback.   Terrible bedrooms, deceptive website

  To start with the positives, the staff were friendly, and if you appreciate eccentric theme park-like decorations (think cartoonish concrete trees, and dragons in the garden) then you may enjoy it.The walls between rooms are thin, so sounds transmit easily. The outside lighting, combined with very thin curtains, meant that the bedroom was lit up all night. The pillows were terrible. Combined, these led to very poor sleep. The hotel seems to have invested a lot of money in its website. Unfortunately the website is at best aspirational, and at worst, intentionally deceptive. Somewhere “more akin to a country club than a hotel”, this is not.
