Location

Ideal for beach holidaymakers, active holidaymakers and families, this resort lies in Puerto de Santiago, near a beach.

Facility

517 non-smoking rooms are available to guests in a 3-storey main building and several auxiliary buildings. The friendly staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. The resort provides a baggage storage service, a safe, a currency exchange service, a car hire service, a laundry service and a page service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort has wheelchair-accessible facilities and 15 lifts. There are a number of shops as well. The grounds of the complex feature a playground and a lovely garden. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car (for a fee). Services include a hotel shuttle bus.

Rooms

Air conditioning ensures that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can relax on the balcony or terrace. There is also a safe and a minibar for an additional fee. Equipped with a telephone, satellite television, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge), the rooms provide many ways for guests to stay connected and entertained. A hairdryer is provided in the bathrooms. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Family rooms are available for parents with children.

Sport

The pool complex, which includes 3 outdoor pools and 3 children's pools is a great place to work out or just relax and unwind. The pool area also includes a hot tub (for a fee), a waterslide and a pool bar. Comfortable sun loungers are available on the terrace. The resort offers an extensive outdoor sports programme, including beach volleyball, basketball, crazy golf and archery. Water sports enthusiasts are offered water aerobics. Sport and leisure facilities at the resort include a gym and table tennis. Various wellness options, such as a spa, a sauna, a hammam and massage treatments, are offered for a fee. Additional leisure activities include a kids' club, a kids' disco, live music and a dance club.

Meals

The dining area includes a bar. Warm hospitality and a cosy atmosphere await guests in 3 non-smoking restaurants. All-inclusive special can be booked. A generous and varied breakfast buffet (also for early birds and late risers) provides many delicious reasons to rise and shine. At lunch and dinner, guests serve themselves at the buffet. Children's meals, lactose-free food and vegan food can be prepared on request. To satisfy the littlest guests, baby food is also available on request. The resort also offers snacks. The show cooking is a particularly special attraction. For guests, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included.

    Amazing Family Holiday!!

    If you are a mum/dad and you are reading this then just book it already. Absolutely amazing hotel, stunning views, great food (despite the comments of some), brilliant entertainment for the kids and friendly hotel staff.This was our first trip to Tenerife and we spent ages researching before booking Landmar Los Gigantes. All I can say is our research paid off because it was by far one of the best holidays we have ever had and my girlfriend and I have been to the Caribbean several times. This was our first holiday with our son who is 6 and he all he now talks about is Tenerife and wanting to go back. Not too far from the hotel (all be it downhill), there is a lovely secluded black sand beach and if like myself you love snorkeling you can see a large variety of marine life. There are also several restaurants, cafes, bars and shops along this stretch of beach too. Word of warning! The black sand is VERY hot so take footwear to get you to the waters edge. But don’t let that put you off because it is absolutely beautiful.     This is our 2nd visit to the hotel (2024 we 1st came and i did the original review) and we still loved it.Improvements we've noted:*More places/bins to leave rubbish/empty drinks cups and staff emptying them throughout the day.*Landi exclusive seating area at all 3 meal times, not just breakfast, and more options exclusive to Landi Suite guests.*Exclusive reserved beds policy for Landi suites, fab age appropriate gifts for the kids in rooms and various other perks for the use of the rooms.*Animation team have lots more going on than before.*Splash Park and soft play have been updated.Downsides:(Personal as son has an Eating Disorder) They have changed the chicken nuggets from battered to breadded, they are usually cold and hard so he doesn't like the texture. We came back here specifically as one of the things he loved was the nuggets. I tried then and I didn't enjoy them either.Umbrella stands need updating so the hold the umbrellas securely on windy days. You can't have them up in high winds on hot days for shade as they come out of the stands as most of the holders that secure the are broken. This was the same 2 years ago and still seems like they don't think to do this. Lack of shade on super hot windy days forces people back to their rooms, especially with young kids.Shows:Some of the shows are the same set/routine as 2 years ago. I know outside acts can't be told what to do, but repeat acts for repeat customers gets boring.Kids clubs:There needs to be a 8-11 year old category. My kids felt/are too big for the kids club but too young to go to the teens club with facilities they would have enjoyed using in the evening.Ola Snack bar:Burgers and hot dogs were hot but the chips were always cold and dry when we went. Salads were basic and a little lack lustre.Overall we had a great holiday again, the staff are amazing, animation team are on the go all day, room was cleaned every day, food was actually improved mostly in the buffet. We didn't use the a la cart visits due to myself sons ED and lack of options for him.Would come back again in another couple of years.
