Location

Ideal for beach holidaymakers, active holidaymakers and nature lovers, this hotel lies in Puerto de Santiago, about 100 m from the sandy beach.

Facility

The complex was modernised in 2019. 432 non-smoking rooms are located on 8 storeys and can be reached by 7 lifts. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to surf the internet and catch up on email. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well. Children can enjoy the playground. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car (for a fee). Further services include a car hire service, a laundry service, a hairdresser and a hotel shuttle bus. Travellers with bicycles can make use of the on-site bicycle storage area. A business centre with projector and a flip chart and pens is available. Larger events can be organised with the help of the conference service.

Rooms

Air conditioning ensures that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. In some rooms, a terrace provides additional space for relaxation. Guests are sure to get a good night's sleep in the king-size bed. Separate bedrooms are available. There is also a safe and a minibar for an additional fee. Other features include a telephone, satellite television, a stereo system, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge). A selection of pillows ensures a comfortable stay. A hairdryer, a vanity mirror and a telephone are on hand in the bathrooms for everyday use. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products.

Sport

The outdoor area features 3 pools. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub (for a fee). Sun loungers are ready and waiting on the terrace. There are many ways to relax or stay active at the hotel, including tennis, bocce, crazy golf, archery, water aerobics, a gym and table tennis. Additional leisure activities include a kids' disco, live music and a dance club.

Meals

Dining facilities include a bar and a lobby bar. Warm hospitality and a cosy atmosphere await guests in 3 non-smoking restaurants. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board and all-inclusive special. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will satisfy appetites big and small. Lactose-free food and vegan food can be prepared on request. The complex also offers snacks. The show cooking is a particularly special attraction. For guests, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included.

    We had a fantastic week in Tenerife in May, staying at the Landmar. We did have the all inclusive platinum package which was fantastic, especially the pool area for platinum guests. Food was great throughout and premium spirits are also included with platinum with a self pour service, and there is also a separate main bar off the lobby for this level of guest. The inside of this bar is small, so not great if the temperature has dipped a bit, but the outside space is good. The gym is pretty well equipped and the platinum evening party with DJ was a nice touch one of the evenings. Staff are all really lovely and helpful, and Samuel and Ruth from the Spa were fantasic!     Fantastic place. Myself, my wife and our 14 year old daughter spent 8 days at this hotel. And the reviews are spot on.The hotel is spotless, all the staff are friendly, hardworking and professional. The animation team made our holiday. Manu and Irene, were so much fun around the pool and managed to get everyone involved. The rooms are spotless. Comfortable beds and pillows. The room is a little dated, we had a few issues with the shower door, and it Would of been nice to have some water in the fridge. But there are cold water units on every floor.The restaurant food was really nice, everything cooked beautifully. Not the biggest selection I've had to be honest. But the quality was really good.The snack bar. The food was wrapped which was a nice touch, and kept everything fresh. Again, all good quality, but the same thing all day everyday. And no sweet treats. Would of been nice to have a biscuit or a cake etc with a coffee. They did have ice-cream pots. The heated pool was quality 👌 just walk in, no shock!! 😂 and plenty of beds. Evening entertainment, wasn't our cup of tea. The animation team, was the best part, but the acts themselves were ok at best.All in all, a beautiful hotel, excellent staff, quality food, a great animation team and a fantastic holiday experience. We would definitely return to this hotel.     Closed the bottom pool for conference to have a dinner ,took out the coffee machine in platinum for conference,closed platinum lounge for six days ,told could have a drink outside if cold have a blanket,stray cats using the flower beds as toilets,and providing sex shows in the dinning room .Birds landing on snack bar food and pecking away staff ignore this,pigeons walking all.over the pizza that people then eat,lights out at 12 security ushers you up to bed.Cold food ,must have shares in chickpea and corn farm they turn up at every meal,oh and dry chicken ,did speak to jet 2 rep.but says no one complains about anything when pointed out bird problem mentioned on trip adviser 12 years ago.stated she does not read TripAdvisor because people must write rubbish when they get home,great HR jet2 .So would I visit again.That's a no from us Guest Experience Team, Otros at Hotel Landmar Playa La Arena, responded to this review Dear H3781SFleonb,Thank you for taking the time to share your comments regarding your recent stay with us.We are truly sorry to read that your experience did not meet your expectations.
