  Horrible experience. AVOID!

  AVIOD AT ANY COST!Horrible disorganised hostel. Online checking didn’t work. Showed up at the hostel and the receptionist said that he didn’t let me in, i ended up sleeping rough as hotels were fully booked late evening. Nicole the manager wasn’t helpful and didn’t refund my payment.

  This hostel has changed my life, I was supposed to be here for 8 days at the beginning of May and I stayed here for 2 months because I fell in love with it. The atmosphere, the people, the island. Almost every single person I’ve met here are lovely. The manager is understanding and proactive, always ontop of any problems. It feels like being part of a big family here. I came back for a month and my trip is almost over and I’m already thinking about when I can come back.

  Stay away. The worst hostel experience I ever had. Ruined my vacation.

  Be careful! Don't go, unless you like to sleep with bed bugs. The worst experience I ever had in a hostel. Completely destroyed my vacation :(The place is infested with bed bugs, I was moved 3 times in 5 days, only to find that the bed bugs are everywhere. Had to take antihistamines and buy new clothes so I can wash all of mine.Also, volunteers are doing the dishes and cleaning the kitchen after midnight and from 7 am, and since the doors don't close you feel like you're practically in the kitchen. Had no sleep for 5 nights I was there- between the bed bugs, the noise, the lights entering the room and the drunk and drugged guests (not all, fortunately)...The only good thing is the option of meeting new people and that the manager understood the situation and how badly it affected my experience and reimbursed me with what I payed. Avoid avoid avoid.I wouldn't come back, even if it was offered for free.

  INFESTED WITH BED BUGS! A REAL NIGHTMARE!

  DON'T GO HERE! SAVE YOUR BODY It was a real nightmare when I discover that my bed (in Safari Room 2) was infested by bed bugs! the management was aware that the rooms are infested with bed bugs but they do not tell the customers, so as not to lose revenue! I had hundreds of bites in all my body and had to go to the emergency room to get a prescription for cortisone, I was going crazy because of the itching. I sent many time and money to have the cortisone medicaments, but they just give me back 2 night instead of 12 that I spent there! This is a public healt issue, I'm serious, the police should close this hostel, I'm going to denunce this next time that I'll go in Tenerife! I discovered that Nest politician about bed bugs problem is just doing nothing, while others hostel have worked hard to resolve! Tell everybody to avoid Nest hostal in Tenerife, especially in Los Amigos! THIS SUCKS, it would be illegal to have such infested room and going on in guest human being inside without aware! They should shame to send people to be attacked by horrible bed bugs during the night, while sleeping! They should just close for hygienic reason untill the problem is 100percent solved! if you want more information write me on +39 3389960589 my name is Giordano Toth, from Italy.   Chilled vibe and pleasant surroundings

  This being a last minute idea to ride motorcycles around Tenerife the nest was perfect the manager very helpful and a feeling of warmth and community from all residents and guest having never stayed in a hostel at 52 years old it was pleasantly surprised by the chilled vibe and would 100 % stay there again
