  Stopping in Tenerife on a Budget.

  Just done seven nights here, this is an amazing place to stop if you’re on a budget. Cheap as Chips. Plenty of plates, crockery, utensils etc. lots of cupboard room. The bunks really comfy. And the staff are absolutely Gems, with their help.Definitely would stop again.

  Overpriced sorry excuse of a hostel

  They falsely and unexpectedly threw us out and couldnt communicate in English the reason clearly. The reception was horrible, the beds were dirty, the staff were not at all trying to even show any interest, and they should be ashamed of themselves. I do not advise this place to anyone.

  Cracking place to stay on the cheap.

  First time I have stopped in this type of accommodation.The hostel is kept to a good standard of cleanliness. Bunks are comfortable, a great in expensive way to tour.Plenty of kitchen equipment to go round. A quiet place to chill. The staff are very kind and courteous too.

  Left stranded without a bed after reserving 2 nights

  I booked and paid for two nights at this hostel, but what happened on my second night was completely unacceptable. After a problem-free first night, I returned late on my second night, climbed into my assigned bed—only to find another guest already sleeping in it. Understandably confused, I woke him up, and he informed me that he had also been assigned the same bed.When I checked my locker, my lock and belongings were gone. There were no staff members around, and it was the middle of the night—leaving me stranded without a place to sleep. The next morning, I spoke to a staff member who admitted that they had mistakenly thought I had checked out early, reassigned my bed, and even cut my lock. Yet despite their clear mistake, I received no compensation—not even reimbursement for the lock they broke.When I followed up via email, the hostel dismissed the issue, falsely blaming it on another guest’s actions. However, the guest himself showed me proof that he had been officially assigned to my bed, and staff openly admitted to mismanaging my booking and breaking my lock. Their refusal to take responsibility is appalling.I strongly advise against staying here. If you book this hostel, be prepared for the possibility that:You may return to find your bed given away to another guest.Your lock (and sense of security) could be forcibly removed by staff before your checkout date.If they make a mistake, they will take no accountability and offer no resolution.Mistakes happen, but when a hostel's error results in a guest being left without a bed—after paying for it—there must be accountability. This hostel has shown none. Stay elsewhere.

  Has Rl Medano Nest changed for the worse..?

  Had a great budget break and Nest was perfect for cheap clean friendly accommodation in the double level bunks with good privacy curtains, with hot showers and good breakfast!**Update: was going to rebook but I notice the bunks have changed to cramped three high bunks with less privacy and space… Why ruin what was perfect..? No thanks guys! Real shame!
