    Good but very uncomfortable beds

    This small complex is situated on a hill about a five minute walk from the village where there are numerous restaurants, bars and a couple of supermarkets. We found all the staff friendly and helpful. The pool area is well maintained with pool towels provided. The restaurant is of a good standard with friendly staff. Housekeeping do a good job with twice weekly cleaning. We had one of the older villas, it was dated but acceptable. However, the beds are the most uncomfortable beds that ever exist, I have since read that the uncomfortable beds have often been mentioned in previous reviews, housekeeping provided a topper but it was so thin it was no help at all. The lightening in the main living area and the main bedroom is very poor, we found it impossible to read in the evenings. It was the beds and lighting the reasons I have only given three stars.     Quiet location but decent pubs and restaurants nearby

    This resort is on a hill so be warned if you have Asthma, are disabled or an OAP. Our first Villa small room beds were super hard but the second Villa was okay! So given sleep score lower than a 5 as it is a quiet area.     Exceallant resorts. Villas well maintained. Grounds and pool looked after very well. The Terrace bar and restaurant were great with friendly staff. We will come back again.     Fabulous place to holiday, great staff and bar/restaurant in a quiet village resort.Reference Catherine Charltons reviewWhile I sympathise with her regarding her burglary, she was not staying at the Ona Sueno Azul resort. The Ona Sueno Azul resort and reception staff have no responsibility for any of the privately rented villas which are located nearby.It is therefore rather an unfair review.     Our experience was bad. We were broken into on the second night. It appeared they had a key or picked the lock on the door (all doors and windows were locked before bed)We were very fortunate we didn't disturb them as I heard a noise a d thought one of my girls were up using the bathroom I was with my children I needed locks changing ect.The reception staff were not helpful at all. There exact comment was what do you expect us to do ( I booked thrjet 2) I was not aware at the time we were classed as a private residence .I booked flights to return home early and I went to reception to ask fr assistance to book a taxi And was told NO after she asked for the villa number as I was a private guest.When I asked why she said she's not aloud the calls are monitored. I explained I was struggling to communicate to the taxi firm where we were a d still refused So unkind unhelpful rude and arrogant. My holiday was ruined I felt unsafe and vulnerable and reception were unhelpful. I understand I was classed as a private guest but to not offer help and understanding was unkind and not the decent thing to do in the circumstances.
