Location

This charming hotel is situated directly beside the beach of El Medano. A wide selection of shopping and entertainment venues are all located in the neighbourhood. In addition, a stop for public transport lies only 200 m from the hotel, El Medano town square is roughly 500 m away and Playa de las Americas is about 20 km away. Furthermore, the airport is within 7 km of the hotel.

Facility

75 rooms, including 4 suites, single rooms and 70 double rooms, are located on 4 storeys and can be reached by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. A baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Everyday necessities can be purchased at the supermarket. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air.     I booked direct at a good price, needing a one night stay near the airport and preferably not in a big tourist resort hotel. I had a single room, no. 217, exactly as shown online, clean, modern decor, small nicely fitted bathroom. Large balcony with chairs and table, not a great view but not a problem. No chair in the room but I suppose there is the option to bring in one from the balcony. Bottle of water in the fridge, a welcome drink available at the bar, a well stocked and varied breakfast, helpful staff. The room was quiet, so much so I was surprised at the number of guests in the breakfast room the follow morning. Pool area looked nice, beach towels available. A 5 minute walk along the seafront to the town, plenty of cafes and bars etc around, and the lady taxi driver told me it was OK for me to walk in and out after dark, always good to know.

    The hotel is amazing. Very clean and modern rooms and cleaned daily. Varied breakfast hot and cold which was tasty and plentiful. Most staff very pleasant and helpful. Sited on the end of el Médano and the town is typically Spanish and not many tourists which is what we wanted. Restaurants In the town are really good and varied choice. Now the unfortunate truth you’ll need to know.The wind around the hotel is constant and when you add the dry sand the walk to the town is like being sandblasted. The sand comes over the wall surrounding the pool area and covers everything. After you put sun cream on you end up like human sandpaper. It’s a real shame the wind and sand spoil such a lovely hotel. If you book ask for a room on the entrance side as the wind isn’t bad.

    Fab weeks stay B&B basis in superior double room with gorgeous sea view. Hotel facilities were spot on, breakfast was fresh good choice daily, staff friendly. Rooms were freshly renovated and cleaners came daily, changed towels as requested. There was no panic rush for Sun loungers but pool was unheated and v cold. El Medano was a hidden gem, immaculate, windy yes but very chilled lots of traditional style food, at very reasonable prices. Perfect if you don’t want loud music, big drinking culture. Would highly recommend.

    Beautiful hotel . Really friendly and helpful reception staff . Also all staff from HITO and pool bar was really nice too . Rooms are clean and well decorated.Breakfast was delicious 🤤It’s perfect location but reallllyyy windy…. But in overall 10/10

    Had the most amazing week for my birthday holiday Spotlessly clean friendly staff huge variety for breakfast. Our room was on the third floor and we found it super quiet as it was the nature reserve side The pool.area was beautifully clean the pool.isnt heated but I loved the cool dip daily We loved it so much we booked to come back before we left
