  Disappointing Sand Club Apartment

  We are two senior citizens in good health but found the steep steps to the apartment difficult without a hand rail especially when carrying a suitcase. The apartment is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. We had problems with the shower which flooded the first time we used it and the induction hob which has a fault. We had to call out the owners on both occasions. We also had to chase the owners for details of the apartment and access codes which we got just before we were due to leave the UK. The TV was only in Spanish with no English channels. However the outdoor area was good with coloured lights

  stayed in a excellent apartment, the pictures matched what we were sold, area is quite, apart from flights can sometimes be low in this area , hopefully flight paths changed, pool clean, loads of room to sunbath. more timeshare private apartments type, good square for eating in, hire car, parking is tight, with no beach, as in sand, for a fair walk, still building this area up, but nice for a chill, apart from planes.

  This is the first visit to the Sand Club. It is a large complex of privately owned apartments on two levels, with a large swimming pool on the far side of the development. The apartments are well furnished with adequate balconies, mostly with sea views. It is a short walk to the best supermarket in the area, and a plethora of restaurants and bars (56 in all!). Hiperdino is well stocked and is open 7 days a week from 0800 am to 2200. Linen and towels are changed once a week by the Management company.

  We normally stay at sunset view but it was fully booked. So we decided on sand club and was pleasantly surprised. Beautiful roomy 2 bedroom apartment with all mod cons. Only downside was no safe or aircon but all rooms had fans.Nice quiet pool no need to reserve sunbed etc.If you just want peace and quiet this is certainly for you.

  Got a deal in a privately owned apartment for a week through a friend from work. The apartment, although dated was clean and tidy with all that is needed for a week in the sun. The pool area was very clean and looked to have been recently refurbished, only one complaint I would add is the water was cold, even the penguins got out. LOL 😜On a whole a good holiday, the area is quiet but everything to hand, with all amenities only a few minutes walk away. Taxi from the airport was €15 which was handy but meant on some days a lot of day time air traffic. From what I could see the majority of the apartments were privately owned so the evenings were pleasant and quiet. As for things to do well apart from a daily walk along the coastal path nothing else but eat, drink and sit in the sun but that was the whole idea of the holiday. The fantastic weather we had for the last week in March was also a great help with temperatures in the mid to high 20s every day. Can tick this resort off my list now and look for the next deal.
